My best bet is rex ryan

Not sure how i'd feel about that. Rex knows defense but his personality is a bit toxic and he may try to overshadow Shanahan.

Me too. What is Lynch doing today? What did he have for breakfast? Who's he trying to hire next?

Sauces tell me he's grinding. Phone is attached to his ear hole. Using his relationships to M4GA!

It's refreshing to have a GM with phone attached to the correct hole.
The more I see and read, the more confident I am in this guy. If you trust Kyle, you have to trust his pick for GM. Lets hope we see some bold an aggressive moves out of the gate, but remember that bold and aggressive has allowed batting average that slow and steady. Baalkie was anomaly, he was slow and steady, and hitting 165, in a good season.

I will give Lynch a chance, and accept that he will make a few mistakes along the way. I trust he is smart enough to surround himself with good people, and take advice. I trust that Kyle has his hands on the trigger, at least in any slips decision, the tie goes to Shanney.

Lets hope this duo works fast, I am eager to see what the plan is for a QB. I think with the draft so light on cant miss guys, we will go free agent, and look to the defensive side of the ball with the #2 pick. An edge rusher, and middle linebacker will be my key to rebuilding the worst defense in 49er history.

I think a early round pick goes to a WR, and middle rounder to a RB. I might even consider trading back to the middle of the first round, if I could add several more picks in the early rounds, we have a lot of need.

In free agency I like veterans on offense, so I would be looking for a wide out, and center. Spending most of my picks on defense where speed and youth are a premium.

Anyway, my two cents, looking forward to the new season....is the stupid bowl over yet, all super bowls that don't include the Niners are dumb!

Hey guys, there are so many articles saying that "John Lynch wanted to test to see if the 49ers could keep a secret and nothing leaked, so they passed the test",

I read what happened the EXACT opposite! The fact that they were able to keep it a secret means that it was not anyone else that was doing the leaking. There was no rat in the organization letting things out. IT WAS JED AND PARAAG, because when they agreed not to leak, there were no leaks.

Doesn't this mean they failed the secrecy test, because now John knows that his own boss and close peer are the ones who were the source of all these leaks, the same leaks Jed always denied making and scapegoated on others in the organization all these years?

I think the #2 pick all comes down to how high we are on the QBs in this class. I don't think the Browns are going QB #1. I think they'll take Garrett and either trade for Jimmy G or draft a guy with another pick later. If we don't feel we should go QB top 5, I think we trade down and stock up for the future.

Shanahan has been on record before saying he wants quick OL for his system. I could see us trading Tiller, he's a good player for a power system, but not outside zone. Quickness is unfortunately his biggest weakness. I don't see Martin returning. We need an upgrade at center, especially with Kilgore's lack of durability.

Sounds like they would've failed either way in your book...

LOL. No question. Proof positive. Not only that, there were several reports that there was a secret third candidate. Sooo...that got leaked.

Or the person doing the "leaking" has left the building aka Baalke.

The test results indicate that Jed and Paraag have 100% control over whether something gets leaked or not, and we already know things got leaked regularly in the past, especially things that painted the HC in a bad light. What positive or promising conclusions can you draw from that?

LOL. You think Baalke was the leaker over Jed and Paraag? Yes...sure he did his own smear campaign immediately after he was fired.

For all leaks, they've all benefited one person...Jed York.
