Safe to say Lynch needs to hit a grand slam or two this offseason.

Meantime we only have 5 picks. We will be overpaying some guys to come here in FA. If they even want to.

The primary issue with Lynch is that he's more interested in promoting himself than running the team. Here he is after the 2017 draft pumping his chest about how he outsmarted the rest of the league to get Foster.

"What are you feeling?" someone asks Lynch. "Joy," he says. "We just got two of our three favorite players in this draft, and we're still in play tomorrow and Saturday to have good days there too. I mean, you never know. Check back in three to five years. But we just got two game-changing players."

Sounds similar to what every GM says....what exactly did you expect him to say after his first draft?

Peters and Mayhew are potential in house replacements at GM. Jon Embree is the only qualified in house replacement at HC. Which is pathetic, but considering how well Kittle has developed he would deserve a look.

Brian Xanders and Jeff Ireland are both experienced outside options. I'd pair Xanders with Kubiak, they both have ties to Denver and Ireland with Carmichael Jr considering they've been working together in NO.

Jeff Ireland they should have hired Patton

Kubiak will be the OC for the broncos no way hes taking on a HC gig with his health.

Yep. I wanted Patton bad of everybody we interviewed last year. Dude is ready to be a gm.

I agree, it's a silly comment.

Nah Baalke's players didn't even make it to the field and he didn't touch anyone in FA.

Not even close honestly.

Baalke at least had some decent draft picks and free agents early on. Lynch had the second overall pick and completely dropped the ball

For all we know Shanny might have made Baalkes picks look good as well

NT Logic. Guy signs major commitment to one team with a 6 year contract, only interested in promoting himself. ...

I expect him to say nothing, like the all the other GM's that don't give Peter King full access to their draft room.
Perhaps it's time to promote Adam Peters and move Lynch to a more natural role of President of Football Operations...the John McVay role.
