At best you'd get a 3rd for either of them, but I wouldn't make either of those deals.

I think you could pull a 2nd for Uncle Sherm, statistically he's having a great year. Could certainly help a Super Bowl contender.

Lol you just see what Oakland got for Cooper?

My thoughts exactly.
I get that it's the tendency for fans to overvalue their own players, but after what the Raiders got for Cooper I see no way you couldn't get at least a 2nd for Staley or Sherman.

Amari Cooper is 24 years old and not far removed from being a 2 time Pro Bowl player. RIchard Sherman is 30 years old, coming off a major Achilles injury, and has missed games this year. There is ZERO chance that any team would give higher than a 3rd and I think that is a stretch.

You are wrong in my opinion. You arent factoring in age and injury and only going by how good they once were.

I dont know what to tell you if you think the Niners could get a 1st rd pick for Richard Sherman.

IDK about a 1st, it would take some competitive betting.
But a 2nd from a contender is absolutely possible IMO.

Oh I agree he's playing at a high level and I hope the Niners keep him for next season . But if some team offers a 1st I'm jumping on that . There's just no way imo

I'm going with nay on this one as well. I don't see a team giving up a second or better for a 30 year old DB. His speed is going to decline rapidly.
