My understanding is that they can interview but not offer a job until the NFL open periods. Is that true? If so would that be after the Falcons are out?

We should have a GM next week if the Falcons win because the GB guys will be done, or Kyle can choose the AZ guy or Vikings guy. The Gm can start to help put a staff in place and get ready for the senior bowl. If Falcons lose, we should have our coach next week. lol
Kyle can still choose the GB guys even if the Packers win.

Nah, he's solid. Not Schefter or Rapoport level but he's very reliable. He's not the type to jump to conclusions like Jason Cole....etc

Even if the Packers win it doesn't mean they can't hire one of the Packers guys then and there. Ideally the Falcons lose and the 49ers can hire Shanahan and Gutekunst at the same time.

He definitely is, he has legit NFL sources and wouldn't report anything just for the sake of being first.
