Isolating one stat is silly I know, but since it is topic that is of interest and that we are turning over the ball this way at the rate of almost one per game I would be fascinated with opinions as to why this is happening? Or is it not really relevant or important?

C Davis 1 for loss Total 1
K Martin 1 for loss Total 1
A Burbridge 1 for loss Total 1

Q Patton 1 recovered Total 1
Total lost 8 recovered 9 Grand Total 17

In 12 games we turned it over 13 times and fumbled 24 times.

Nice break down. Are muffed punts included? I think it's very relevant to how some games seem to turn with a 49er fumble loss. Just have to cradle that ball tighter or something.
Kerley's fumble on the return was basically the game-losing play.

This calls for drastic measures, we need to get some of the ball huggers off the Alex thread and on field where their talents can be appreciated.

Curious how it compares to the league average.

With the punishments being handed out for big hits, forced fumbles definitely seem to be more popular.

You should have added dumb penalty give aways to that as well.

Today we lost over 100 yards to penalties.

Not really fair to point out this stat in such conditions. However....

The GOOD No turnovers during very poor condition.
The BAD We fumbled/muffed the ball 5 times while the Pats fumbled once.
The UGLY Our penalties made up for any lack of turnovers.

Ugly Kaep sacked 4 times. What the hell is going on with the Oline?
