But agreed otherwise, it really is an all Baalke D.

Baalke brought in Bethea?

How about Tartt? MIA?
Same old story again.

Competed well for 30mins on both sides of the ball. Then fell apart & got blown out.

Defense completely gave up again in the 2nd half when the Offense started to stutter.

Kap is a fantastic athlete & he also has a cannon for an arm, we know that. Tbf he made some nice plays with his legs yesterday. It's just a shame he doesn't have the deep ball accuracy or the touch of Tyrod Taylor.

I guess our LBs had a s**t ton of issues getting off blocks.

"They missed six tackles on the day which led to 117 yards after contact. The linebackers had a tough time getting off blocks at the second level, which in turn freed up some rushing lanes and also led to Micheal Wilhoites 40.5 run defense grade and Nick Bellores 51"

I remember when we went over 2 YEARS without giving up a 100 yard rusher. Now we've given up 5 in a row. McCoy reached the century mark by halftime. Brutal.

The days when we got mad cause we gave up a rushing TD at around week 12. Lol
Defense is a disaster without Bowman to cover for all the mistakes up front. Kap is better than Gabbert in some ways, worse in others. Hyde is injury prone. The secondary is deep but nobody is elite. Pretty much exactly what we thought going in. Only bright spot is the offensive line. This team is a steaming dump in the talent department. I cant even get the point of blaming the coaches when the players are this bad. We are so outclassed in virtually every position that I don't know how anyone could succeed.
I'll bet that if you gave Fangio these same defensive players that he would have them playing probably not all that great but much better than this. I don't have anything against O'Neil but I suspect that he is one of the main problems of the defense.

Didn't McCoy reach over 100 by the end of the first quarter?

The loss of Bowman can't be overstated. We felt the difference the first play he wasn't on the field. Our run defense was sub-par before, but without him it's a complete disaster.

without a doubt. He did it in his final season. 18 players on IR that season most of them on defense. I find it completely hypocritical that the anti Harbaugh crowd wouldn't let anyone use that as an excuse for only winning 8 games but they're throwing it around like crazy right now for Baalke n Kelly. Also the same folks refuse to acknowledge or can't see that this is the same exact team personell wise on offense as the Harbaugh regime. Yet he had more than enough talent to win a superbowl. on defense yes on offense the same problems existed.
The only difference is that Harbaugh had possession receivers and zero speed. Now we have speed but no solid possession receivers. Decent line, excellent rb, nothing else. Sound familiar? And Vernon Davis is a joke so don't even try it. Harbaugh has been t gfs only coach that got anything from him and outside of the seam route it wasn't much.

Can we forfeit the rest of the season? I thank that will be better than getting embarrassed each week

No. It's our punishment, and we're going to need that embarrassment to motivate us to make the drastic changes that need to be made.

Want last year an embarrassment enough?

Obviously not. We've still got a quarterback that can't think on his feet, a college coach, and a failed GM.

But to be fair, we also had one of the best DL coaches in the league and everything starts up front. We were still able to stop the run which made teams one dimensional. We can't do that now which allows the opposition to use every single play in their playbook for the entire game (advantage offense). I think Tomsula's impact on the DL was just as crucial, especially in 2014 when we were missing a lot of guys

Lack of talent overall. The defense is terrible, specifically the LB group. Offense did some nice things in the 1st half, but 2nd half we looked like easily the worst team in the league.

The TD pass to Torrey was actually a terrible throw.
Different QB, same old 49ers.

Left at least 2 TD's on the field. Under threw a gimme TD.

O-line still can't run block.

Hyde still dancing at the LOS. Hit the fu**in hole already.

Rush defense looks atrocious.

Made Tyrod Taylor look good. Yeah, lol.

O'Neil's scheme is trash. That defense can't be that bad... other then Purcell, Dorsey, Bellore and Wilhoite.

Here's to the #1 pick the next 3 years.

Team has gone downhill since harbaugh

We need to get rid of baalke and accept the fact 49ers are in full rebuilding mode and won't be competitive for 2 to 3 years minimum

The 4 wins I predicted before the season seams optimistic now
