LOL. I'm in agreement on those positions as well.

It's gonna be rough because those are difficult positions to solve. Unlikely to happen in one off-season. 49ers have to seriously consider if they want Baalke to continue to steer this ship, because the decisions made next off-season are going to be absolutely crucial.

100% agree. Every team, with the exception of a handful, are looking for their FQB, dominant pass rusher and play making big-bodied WR. We'll get first crack at them though.

That state of things make me sick to my stomach. We can't stop anyone even when we know what they're going to do. We can't run for 1 yard in two chances to get it. We have no elite or prospective stars-in-the-making talent at receiver. We have no QB. It's a mess all over the roster.

It's horrible. I tried to warn fans last week that it'll only get worse too b/c other players are going to press to make up for the losses...sure enough, Robinson goes down b/c he's forced to make tackles in the open field on RB's, Reaser has to slide from inside to outside (changing the scheme; we now have no slot CB), Hyde gets hurt (basically, our two best players at the moment), etc. This is a team destined to get the #1 overall pick. Are we going to get it right this time (cough, Alex Smith, cough)?

I doubt we will win another game this season. That is the state of the team.
Imagine if we go on a 14 year drought like the Raiders after coming off a 9 year drought before Harbaugh came. My heart can't take all this losing

Firing Harbaugh is the worst decision of all time bye bye baalke
Right now, we need to start Tartt, Robinson, all of our young players and make the game plan simple. Let our young guys gain experience because the older guys are not helping.

They were talking Niners on ESPN this morning. Louis Riddick knows what's up.
Just bring the WCO and the 4-3 defense back.

Shooooot, I've been saying that since day one. Let them play and grow and play straight up. If they get beat, they get beat but at least it won't be b/c they are trying to play while thinking. Add more complex wrinkles as time goes on and their confidence grows.

Good-bye to Brock & Bethea. We're stuck with Dorsey (1 snap a game) and Brooks for now.
plan: s**t can baalke and all the coaches. keep the you tallent, get rid of some of the older guys who arent producing, sign the best qb on the market next year and have them train a top rookie qb. be promising next year but still not ready, dominate in 2018. we have already started the rebuild of the lines. we need a qb, wr's linebackers next year in a bad way.

positives: cap space, high picks, young talent at certain positions.
negatives:jed york is a tool and might not fire baalke and/or chip and we keep going down this road.

I agree ...but EVERYTIME I bring this up , someone always tells me to, 'stop living in the past" , or "we aren't switching to the 4-3 so quit complaining"

obviously this college system isn't going to work here , and if they truly wanted it to work, they would have aggressively went after the talent to make it work ( WR's, especially) ...but NO, we are stuck with this system that cant run the ball with power, cant get any use out of our WR's our TE's , and most of all , it's leaving our defense on the field way too long , allowing them to get cut up against the run

I would say go to a 4-3 right now , maybe it will be more effective dealing with the run , we need a Stout NT and 2 quality ILB's to be effective running a 3-4 , we don't have that or a quality reserve NT, and ZERO pressure from our OLB's ...we might as well focus on getting pressure from the edges and our interior D-lineman

LDE- Armstead / Carradine
DT- Dial / Dorsey
DT- Buckner / Purcell
RDE- Lynch / Blair ...we could get pressure from our DE's out of the 4-3
WLB- Hodges
MLB- Bellore
SLB- Brooks ...we don't exactly have the talent at LB to run a solid 4-3 ...but it has to be better than the production we're getting out of the 3-4
FS- Ward / ..Ward would bring more athleticism to the free safety position , Bethea isn't standing out as our veteran safety
SS- Reid / Tartt / Bethea
CB - Robinson / Reaser / Johnson
CB- Brock / Redmond

just an idea , blast this idea if you want , but the defense we have now isn't getting it done , not even close

I like the idea of a 4-3 because our linebacker core is not a strength anymore.I would leave Buckner and Armstead on the edges because there long and athletic and should be free to play to their strengths.I would also start looking at any available NT remaining in free agency as well.Leave Lynch and Brooks at OLB and you have the ability to have at least a chance for a pass rush.LOL this team needs to be torn down and built back up from scratch
Reid sucks, he needs go. On my 2nd year in a row saying this. All he does is drop INT's and misses tackles. Another lame pick by Trent

Firing Chip Kelly, is not going to do the 49ers any good. 4 head coaches in 4 years is never a good thing. I think we are stuck with chip for the lengthh of the contract.
