Was Driskell so bad he was worth cutting over the guys still on the roster? I doubt it.Originally posted by NCommand:Originally posted by Blindfury:Originally posted by RishikeshA:I think Ponder would add a little more spark to the offense. Ponder was out of football for a reason.
So is CK and Gabbert (soon).![]()

Kap will play week 5 if Gabbert can't get it together at home vs a weak Dallas secondary and no pass rush next week (even though the Oline has been great in pass pro this year). It's all on Gabbert at this point. He needs to stop being so cautious and let her rip. He has absolutely nothing to lose at this point.
Maybe Gabbert gets the AZ game on Thursday as well but I think that is as far as the leash goes.
Dallas has no pass rush what so ever, if gabbert doesn't do anything by mid 2nd quarter chip needs to bench his ass fast.

Driskel was horrible! He needed a lot of time on the ps, that last preseason game sealed his fate

Not sure what that the lack of a pass rush for Dallas means anything 'cause the OL protected Gabbert pretty good today against the Seahawks; he was hardly ever pressured all day.

First offensive play of the game and this happens. Gabbert wasn't even aware that there was no RB next to him. First play of the game!

Hard to believe this was the fiercest and most intense rivalry in the league not too long ago. As much as I despise that franchise it is hard to deny the fact that they are light years ahead of the Niners.

Did they only have 10 out there? I see a 3x1 set, on the broadcast I assumed it was a 5 wide, but gif shows otherwise.

Hyde is all the way at the bottom. 3 receivers at the bottom, TE on that side as well, 1 WR at the top. They had 11

They had 11. Hyde was split wide (very bottom of screen). Gabbert is thinking, "hmm, 1 backside WR, 1 inline TE, trips, and I want a RB in the backfield". Great math.
