How do you honestly feel about the team right now?

I am sure it has nothing to do with playing two of the best DLs in football back to back.

Better than last year which isn't saying much. Still need QB, WR's (plural) and a good pash rusher OLB. Same needs that should have been addressed much sooner.

We need a spark, I can't wait to see how things look when Lynch gets back, might just be what we&ahmad need.

We need Lynch back badly, my goodness.

Lol

I think its clear that QB needs to be the emphasis.

There were open receivers and plays to be made and Gabbert with his patented inconsistent accuracy failed numerous times.

Meanwhile Newton was dropping dimes from 30 yards out.

Seattle gave up 31 points to the same team in one half...minus Benjamin.

The defense definitely needs more of an improved pass rush but they also gave the offense opportunities with turnovers.

Teams are loading against the run
During the Nolan, Singletary, Tomsula eras, there was never a point where you could see improvement. In only two games there are positive signs.
Sorry ass qb, no legit consistent receiving/playmakers threats and not a damn pass rush. Talent is there but missing 3 of the most important pieces needed to be true contenders and it would be a miracle if we get all 3 in one offseason.

Nolan was bad but he wasn't Singletary bad...and Tomsula....that was embarrassing.
I actually feel like that we played decent. Gabbert is not the future at all but overall there were a lot of positives from this game imo.

Teams are daring us to throw. And we are losing. This is where Gabbert needed to prove he was an NFL QB. When teams force you to make them stop stacking the box. Unless it's Ponder (which I seriously doubt), that QB isn't on the roster.

This. Tougher schedule than JH's 1st year, but none of the dire prospects for the season as the mentioned coaching regimes
We have no playmakers anywhere on this roster...and we didnt attempt to solve this in the pre season

46 pts. Carlos Hyde "fumble" which led to a TD. Reaser dropped pick which led to a FG. That's 10 pts. If McDonald catches that ball that coulda possibly been a TD or instant FG range down 10, Gabbert doesn't throw pick on next play IMO and that led to a TD. Score didn't tell the whole story. Bring on Seattle, good game to learn from and what it requires.. Seattle is down 3 against the Rams. Hope the Rams kill them. Bring them on.

This for sure, just don't think the QB to make us a contender is on the roster.
