This could not be a worse combination of factors for the 49ers. 10am game, 6 day preparation vs 10 days for the panthers, during a week where the NFL came under fire for not protecting Cam Newton. Chalk me up as someone who has no faith in this game.

I'm thinking 27-17 Panthers, but it will never feel close.

I hope most the writers say this to piss the team off. We got youth on our side, this isnt a heavy older vet team. Wont affect us much as before, and Chip has influenced good sleeping patterns for his players to be on to get adjusted for games like this.

It is all about sports science.

The difference between ordinary, and extraodinary...

Yup. Did we ever end up winning 3 in a row under Harbaugh? Always thought we would lose every third game after two wins.

in 2013, we won like 8 in a row to end the season IIRC
I think we we're never really that bad. We just had extremely horrendous coaching last year. Now we have, at worst, a competent person at the helm, and at best, a guy who learned A LOT in philly and is now applying those tough and humbling lessons in SF.

The good news is that ALL the pressure is on the Panthers. We're expected to lose. They. Cannot. Lose. Absolutely not an option.

I can see Chip coming up with a plan entirely based around messing up their game so much they freak out and panic.

Speaking of which, I think if we had volunteers to dissect each position groups, we can have some solid organized feedback at a more efficient/quicker rate IMO. You can take on as much as you'd like.

Midseason... prolly the New Orleans Nuns game after bye week

Let's do the damn thang. I gotta good feeling well be riding in an interesting position come after that game ends with a W

There's all kinds of posters in here living in LV, but do they want to chill with knuckleheads ... I'm game tho.

49ers vs Nuns after the bye should be fun (watch Brooks tee off on Brees), and they'll be on our turf, it might rain and be muddy for their soft (indoor) asses.

Sounds bout right

Not saying the niners will win, but our DL seems ideal against Cam and Kelly might have some interesting plays ready. Will be a great measure game.
I want to see blair, AA and brooks race to hit cam the hardest.

You know AA. Chip and Buck. All owe can some payback from the natty champ
Lol, at you guys that want to stay "realistic" whatever that means. We have a different team than last year. Carolina's defense isn't what it was last year. Are they decent yes, but they were ogers last year. Denver was running on them and they weren't getting too much pressure on saimian.

I think our o line is better than denvers and I think we can finally get pressure up the middle with blair and AA as opposed to nothing up the middle last year.

Here is a thought, last year we had a bad oc and a bad oline. We fixed both. Our defense will be as good if not better than last year although I think we are still a little soft up the middle if we can't run 8 in the box.

This game probably won't be a blowout.
I went out on a limb and said these 49ers will win 10. They have to either beat carolina or the pats with brady. Although this team matches up better against the pats, I want the carolina victory.
