Well, if he's on the 53 for week 1, his pay is guaranteed for the season, and if you cut him, he must clear all 31 teams first.

Not sure how practice squad really works? Why would we re-sign players that didn't make our team? Aren't there any players that we can sign that didn't make other teams that can make us better or compete with current starters? I know in some cases like Taylor and Rush they are in a very crowded group. But some of our D lineman, LB, WR....I could easily try to find for possible upgrade.

That does usually happen. This might be the first time I can remember when we only signed guys that started the year with the team.
We may still see changes to the practice squad as the year progresses, as we normally do.

Once a player clears waivers, any team can sign them. Priority given to worst record to best record. Hence, one would believe that had Baalke felt any other cuts were better than who we signed or had on the roster, he could have signed them.

We still may see some roster movement but I doubt it.

These guys are good football players, just not developed to NFL standards...yet. Lot of good players come from the PS and guys like Skov and Rush just may be pulled up during the year if we have an injury. They will have experience during TC with the team, so a lesser learning curve. Plus...it's good Karma!
