Guarantee.

last time i checked dallas and the vikings were scrambling around trying to find someone plus with our improved o line there is no reason why blaine... oh why do i even bother

That's a head scratcher to me also, I'm thinking that they are going to be used as trade bate.
those are the two i would gladly dump for two other guys in an area of need somewhere within our team
Me too. I love Miller but he doesn't fit Kelly's sceam and Wilhoite is just not up to snuff.
Miller is a football player and will play special teams at a high level, he will catch some passes and do whatever is necessary. Wilhoite makes no sense, he's slow and his shelf life has expired.

On a positive note, this may be the tipping point for Baalke
Most "projects" failed, and a few of them were early picks, looking forward to Tom Gamble sooner then later

As far as roster goes, We need to shore up some positions asap.
Need one more RB, and a 6th WR

I predict one of the 7/8 CB's will be moved to free a spot, not sure where else we can trim, maybe Wilhoite, Miller or Martin

Yeah, I agree on Wilhoite. He's at that point where his play is really starting to have a negative effect on the team.

NCommand, love your OL projection. Would cream my pants if played out that way.

Yeah baby. Even if Beadles starts, it's just a matter of time for Garnett. That is one inexperienced offensive starting unit together...low snap counts. It's going to take time to gel.

having a good guy like beadles as depth is not tragic at all in my opinion

If there was any doubt we're rebuilding, I hope fans see this and get it finally.

QB: *Blaine Gabbert (509/8); *Colin Kaepernick (502/8) - Our starting QB only has 8 games under his belt from last year, as does his backup.
RB1: Carlos Hyde (292/4.7); Shaun Draughn (253/4) & Mike Davis (126/2) - Our starting RB played barely 5 games worth last year and his two backups, 4 & 2 respectfully.
MTE: Vance McDonald (468/7.5); Bruce Miller (143/2.4), TE: Garrett Celek (399/6.4) & Blake Bell (352/5.6) - Our starting TE played about 8 games worth asks backups 2, 4 & 6.
X WR (LEFT): *Rod Streater (10/0); Quinton Patton (424/6.8) - Our starting X had 0 and his backup, 7 games worth.
Y WR (SLOT): *Jeremy Kerley (225/3.6); Aaron Burbridge (0/0) - Our starting Y, 4, his backup, 0. Neither the X or T was even on this team last year or for pre season.
Z WR (RIGHT): *Torrey Smith (772/12.4) - Our starting Z, 12 games worth.
LOT: *Joe Staley (1,011/16) - Our starting LT is the ONLY 16 game starter.
LG: Joshua Garnett (0/0); *Zane Beadles (1,058/16) - Our starting LG is a rookie or a 16 game starter but expected to give way to the rookie at some point.
C: Daniel Kilgore (267/4.2) - Our starting C only played in 4 games worth.
RG: *Anthony Davis (0/0); Andrew Tiller (614/9.8) - Our new starting RG had 0 and his backup, 8 games worthy.
ROT: Trenton Brown (186/3) - Our new starting RT, 3 games worthy.

RDE: *Quinton Dial (640/9.3); DeForest Bucker (0/0) - Our starting RDE played about 8 games worthy and his backup is a rookie.
NT: *Glenn Dorsey (0/0); Mike Purcell (288/4.2) - Our starting NT, 0, his backup, 4.
LDE: Arik Armstead (375/5.5); Ronald Blair (0/0) - Our starting LDE, about 6 and his backup is a rookie.
WILL: Eli Harold (337/4.9) - Our starting WILL, 5, his backup, 3.
ELEPHANT: Tank Carradine (223/3.2)
TED: Ray-Ray Armstrong (0/0); Gerald Hodges (366/5.3) - 0 for our starting TED, 5 for his backup.
MIKE: *Navarro Bowman (1,098/16); Michael Wilhoite (616/9) & Nick Bellore (7/0) - Our starting MIKE, a full 16 games but his backup s, 9 & 0
SAM: *Ahmad Brooks (741/10.8) - Our starting SAM, 11.
RCB: Jimmie Ward (730/10.6); Dontae Johnson (366/5.3) - Our starting RCB, 11.
SLOT (S/CB): Chris Davis - Our starting SCB, 0.
LCB: *Tramaine Brock (1,064/16) - Our starting LCB, played a full 16 games.
HYBRID S/ILB: Jaquiski Tartt (719/10.4) - Our starting hybrid for nickel/dime, 10.
FS: *Eric Reid (1,113/16); Marcus Cromartie (122/1.8) - Our starting FS, a full 16 game starter.
SS: *Antoine Bethea (440/6.4) - Our starting SS, only 6 games.

It's quite alarming how few snaps this starting unit and key backups were on the field last year, if at all.

We have about three-four true 16-game veteran starters in this starting group. That's it.

That doesn't mean there isn't talent here. But it's mostly very inexperienced talent and very few have ever played as a unit; none have played as a unit under this coaching staff or scheme.

Keep that in mind when making sweeping extreme evaluations about players at this juncture. And I hope this little exercise will help create more realistic expectations for you. This team needs time to come together and gel.

Where's the positive note?
I'm nearly through my grieving process of losing rush and smith. I should be good by kickoff.
I really hope we add another wr I don't think 5 is going to be enough.

I don't see how we don't. Who knows. Maybe we come out with 2 TEs? Nobody gets to see what chip is working on most of time.

A little bummed we lost Treggs, I thought that dude would have been a great option in the slot with a bit more seasoning....but who knows he could be Ellington 2.0

I'm morning the idea we didn't have players good enough to push any combination of harold, tank, purcell, tje, dial or dorsey off of the team. Or maybe we did and baalke made the wrong choice? I guess time will tell.
