Should the 49ers cut Colin Kaepernick?

You could just tell when he came in the game last night the energy went away on our offense. The guys just don't like him. Plus his confidence is shot! He can't see the field, he does not know when to run and is a broken QB. Even Chip Kelly and this offense can't fix him. At this point, if we cut him I am not sure anyone picks him up this year.

Broncos will get very desperate here pretty soon. Just keep riding this one out Baalke and you'll get your asking price for Kaepernick. Let the Broncos start to sink a little bit this season early on, and watch the fanbase call for the trade and not want Elway to waste the season while it's still within their grasps.

They're stuck with his contract so unless someone is willing to pick it up I would set him on the bench for the whole year and let him protest all he wants. He made the comment that there was people on paid leave and getting away with murder. Well there are some people that pretend to be pro QB's and are nothing but scraps in the NFL, but yet they get paid. I don't see Kaep sending any money to help these so called minorities. I have been a 49er fan since 1960 and I am pretty much done with this team as long as he is on the roster.

RG3 his ass. Put him on injured reserve. Claim he isn't mentally competent to play.

rg3 has looked decent so far in PS on browns

he and gordon definitely have a good connection and i think when coleman play s opposite that O will look pretty good as they also have barnidge

that O will sneak up on people (not saying it will be great but will be competant)

I am happy for RG3. I was talking about the treatment the Redskins used on him. At this point I am so disgusted with Kaepernick I would like to see him out of football entirely.

Like it or not, at some point this season, most likely when this team starts off 0-3 the staff is going to have to turn to Kap. The same would be true if Kap was named the starter and he loses 3-4 to start the season. It's not looking good for either guy right now.

Sorry, mutant man, Kap is no longer the #2. It is between him and ponder for the # 3. Personally, I don't think he unseats ponder, even. But guaranteed, Kap has erased any chance he had to be #2. And his Anthem thing? Only person he hurt there is himself. This glorified spoiled kid, way immature for his age, knocks down 15 mil for doing nothing other than showcasing how 6 yrs in the league, he STILL can't read a D or go thru progressions. Throw in the anthem, and potential landing places are few....Cleve, Jets, Bills, Den. ...but with the showcasing of his political feelings, is there really ANY team that would want to take a chance with Kap? I think he just had his last chance ever, anywhere to get to play in the NFL again. As for the 49ers and being #2? Please, that is a joke. That guy is the 4th best QB on the team...and no one will want him. But Trent is actually trying to unload him elsewhere for a 7th, with no risk for a yr, with his salary paid. Man what a colossal waste. Worse, he is officially NOW bad for our team, our morale. Chip has seen enough. Guys he sent elsewhere did way less than Kap.

Maybe he grows up, maybe not. But bet your life, it won't be here. I wanted a competition. A real competition. Kap gave us the washed out 2015 Kap...no longer a NFL player. He's done.
