Chip likely can get him back up to either a starter or trade value.
His activist stance isn't that big of a deal. He has clarified it. Veterans such as myself support protest in general.
His opinions/stereotypes and shirts/socks are juvenile but his high level message is important and valid.
The distraction factor will fade.
Chip is not Tomsula.

quite frankly based upon last night.. based upon multiple stories coming out... i do not think there is any distraction.. while the anthem stuff goes on.. the team looks like they are focused and are on the same page. that is a credit to the players and coaches. we fans may think there is distraction and maybe that is because we are not getting alot of football news out of the niners as of late.. I am tending to think the so called distraction factor is like the blather about how we will suck. over blown and over rated
