If Kap doesn't play then Blaine will have to take a beating for a full 1st Q then Driskel for the rest of the game.
This could get ugly.

reality test for our Oline. Don't be so pessimistic. It's the Sanchez not some all Pro.

Our D may be able to able to keep Sanchez and company in check. I just hope that Kap didn't travel with the team just to watch.

My guess is Kap will be the emergency QB in case the other two don't make it.

Preseason game...outcomes don't matter. It is all about practicing situational football, getting the rust off under live fire and evaluating the roster./

To be honest, it is in Kap's best interest to not make his debut against that defense. I don't think anyone will look good out there.
And if I was Kelly, I would absolutely not rush Kap back on the field after a repetitive motion injury. Not if I had been watching him earlier and liked what I had been seeing. Preseason means nothing. If he wants Kap as his starter, I would wait another week and then use the last two games to tune him up. If he is still up in the air that is a different story.
The dumbest thing possible would be to throw Kap out there and have him reinjure that shoulder with no one but Ponder behind Gabbert.
Of course they are the ones that are getting the inside scoop on how Kap feels, I am just on the outside looking in. Maybe he is fine by now.

this is where AD officially gets promoted to starting RT. Although, they really should move him to RG now that he's all fit and can move.

Any decent QB would read that LB blitz a mile away and sing that hot read pass in 1 sec. It's pretty sad.
Hopefully Chip has some magic beans to feed his meh QBs.
