Yes, I'm sure it's lewis' plan for Andy to throw all them picks.

Well, that's in the same vein as Lewis not being responsible for his team choking even without Dalton starting. At least, that's what Bengals fans proclaim to me. "It's not Lewis' fault for x. Or y. Or z..."

Dalton and Lewis have set the bar pretty low for themselves in the postseason, so it would be hard to argue that a guy Harbaugh couldn't get more out of Dalton.

Not that it was a wish of mine, or that I care that much about it now, but it's just interesting to think about. Dalton is intriguing, and not in a good way.

What if the 49ers drafted Tom Brady and then later signed undrafted QB Tony Romo and then signed some cashier at a grocery store named Kurt Warner...............

We would've been much worse in my opinion. Dalton had a great offensive line great running backs great tight ends and great receivers and still couldn't do s**t. Especially in the playoffs. I think he is a game manager that can make plays once in a while in the regular season but he has more help than almost any other quarterback in the league. Collin Kaepernick is a better quarterback in a much worse situation. I personally think Andy Dalton is improving but it's hard to tell when he has that much help. Also he has choke in the playoffs so bad it's not even funny so I don't trust him and I think he would've made the 49ers a worse team.

Could you imagine if we had Eifert and AJ Green??
Or if Julio Jones was picked at 7 and Dalton fell to us a round later. That team would be 8 and 8

But we would still have York as the owner so it's a moot point
Same mess. No player can cover up mismanagement.

Harbaugh would have still be here because it would only mean that REDD (Dalton) would have never beaten Akilex and we woulda never gotten to the Super Bowl and there wont be any argument betwen Harbaugh and Baalke and Jed..

This woulda been Akilex "make or break" year because WE WOULDA been chanting for REDD!! REDD!! REDD!!
things wouldn't be too different. Kap did take the league by surprise in contrast to Alex in 2012, in a way I don't think Andy would. But that's just speculation anyway.
our team was built on defense (particularly the front 7) and run game, as well as good ST to play the field position game

Dalton had some years with crappy performances on a team with generally strong defense, run game and AJ Green.

one player doesnt change much anyway, especially if he's not a hall of famer. and Andy Dalton is as far from Canton as I am from having a threesome with 49ers cheerleaders.

America would hate SF and the Bay Area 0.62749% less

/debate
Green Bay would have beat us in 2012 and we would still be undefeated in the SB but now over 20 years removed from at least being in the SB. We also would have been one and done in 2013 as well and probably 2014
Kap would be a super star and dalton would be Blaine gabbert

Ugh
Would have been the 1st team to 3 peat
If they drafted Kaepernick and we drafted Dalton, they would have had a better QB then, but a worse QB now. The Niners would have had a worse QB then and a better one now.
