I'd Give all of those WR's a C.

Other than T Smith none of these WRs have been NFL starters...so the grade is Incomplete until they get a chance. Patton could be graded but C would be a fairly easy grade if not for Boldin and Smith ahead of him. He's improved but hasn't shown NFL starting talent...at all.

Nah, I think we don't need to worry about WR's until we can actually block guys up front. Do you remember who our WR's were in our first NFCCG against the Giants under Harbaugh? WR's can be added once we can dominate the LOS on offense & defense, run the ball, rush the passer, and force turnovers.

Until then wasting high round draft picks on WR's will only turn us into the Detroit Lions.

This. Vey much appreciate the effort and topic by Vito but yeah, especially under Kelly and probably Gabbert, we have no idea how these WR's will fair.

Torrey appears to be being primed for a much more prominent role. Treggs also has deep speed and return abilities. Rogers and Smelter have the size we need outside and in the RZ. And then we have a log jam at the slot with Ellington, Campbell, White, Anderson, Burbridge, etc.

TE's are a lock. It's just a matter of whether they keep 3 or 4.

Yup. We have no idea how the receiving corps will look at the beginning of the season, and there could be many surprises. With the radical changes wrought by Chip Kelly, past performance is not necessarily indicative of the future, even for vets like Smith and Ellington. Cap/contract commitments will play a role in who stays. And at least a couple of spots are likely to be heavily influenced, if not decided, by ST value.

Pure speculation, but it would not surprise me to see Smith, Ellington, Rogers, Burbridge, Treggs, and Anderson retained. But I have 0% confidence that -- or anybody else's prediction -- will come to pass.
