Really need some of these eggs to hatch, Ward and Lynch can still get better. Carradine back down to his college weight could be huge, Harold is bigger and stronger. Hodges can get better too, and the sky's the limit for Tartt. The D seems young, but Bowman, Bethea, Brooks, Brock, Reid, Williams and Dorsey are all veteran leaders and Dial, Lynch and Ward are graduating into that role

Biggest concerns are OL depth and RB depth, but we have a lot of bodies - so maybe we can get a surprise or two out of TC, if not a couple TC trades/waiver pick ups. OLB depth is also a concern, but maybe Carradine and Blair being 3rd down pass rushers helps that

To me Taylor is a lock over Davis, and Armstrong over Bellore for 1. he is cheaper a bit, 2. he can play defense unlike Bellore.

Also I don't see Anthony Davis back this year, he isn't in shape from reports, and he wouldn't help IMO, Brown is better right now at RT for us.

There is no way Kaepernick is on the team this year. Thad Lewis is needed because he has experience in Kelly's system. Jeff Driskel isn't going anywhere and wont last long if we put him on the PS. And we wont be carrying 4 QB's.

I just don't see a spot for Kap. I think if he doesn't lower his salary demands to join Denver we will flat out cut him June 1st and eat the dead money.

There is zero chance at this point that Kaepernick goes to Denver... get over it. They are all in on Paxton at this point. The Kap to Denver ship has sailed, hit a rock, and sunk with all hands. There were no survivors.

Exactly and that's why I pushed him back in and more evidence is them working Ward outside at CB to ensure all three get on the field for the maximum snaps. I can see Lake over Cherry as well.

Ok I'm seeing some weird names as cuts, Kap's salary is fully guaranteed, and no one will take him on with that number, no way he is cut, Kap is here for 2016, then cut in 2017 if they can't deal him.

Miller is one of the best 53, you keep him no matter what IMO.

Brock had $600K of his salary gtd on April 1st, so he sticks too.

I think Chip will utilize Bruce Miller in select packages, he is too dominant as a blocker and also in trick plays. I understand Kelly (as with most coaches) don't use the FB position, but Bruce Miller can act in on fake 3 TE sets, letting a WR streak up the middle. I believe Bruce will still play a role in our offense as he is reliable at his duty.

Which means Chip may not run with 3 QB's seeing as how Driskel is an unproven rookie who might need a year on the PS learning the ins and finesse of Kelly's O before we turn to him (I expect Driskel to beat out Thad Lewis however) leaving an extra space for D rotation... something tells me with our unproven Wide Out depth chart, we're going to need to keep our D fresh while we meld things out via Kelly's new implemented scheme. I believe this year will very much be Chip's trial run, deciding on these relatively cheap" players, who he wants to build around, what position needs reinforcement and what players to cut and replace entirely. I believe this training camp and pre-season will be a God Damn blood bath when it comes to competition, but I don't believe for a second we let Bruce Miller walk so freely!

Considering there are so many positions/roles in competition, it's way too early to predict the 53-man roster. This is the evaluation period...to determine players' strengths, weaknesses, adaptability to new positions and/or roles. 'Til they put the pads on, any projections on the roster are pure conjecture. Another factor...the potential to sign a few vets that'll inevitably get cut by a number of teams. Niners are one of the few teams with a lot of cap room.
