I absolutely LOVE reading these forums and these posts! You mokes sound like such LOSERS! Damn, when you get to work, do you try to figure out how many burgers you'll flip that day? Maybe only 30 because (sigh) the spatula just ain't that big, or maybe you'll win the super burger flipper bowl because your spatula is the same kind use at McDonalds!!! You cats need to get a life! Some type of a mudflippin' LIFE! You don't know how many games the 49ers are going to win! Neither does anyone else, except for God (and if you just happen to have a line, lemme in). Hell, the COACHES of these teams don't walk around talking about how many games they are going to win and they know their teams and players better than YOU do! You think Bill actually KNEW the Niners were going to win that first Super Bowl? HELL NO!!! But, what he did was coach those guys to run his system and it WORKED! I've been watching the 49ers for longer than some of you have been alive! I've seen a LOT of disappointing seasons. But, I always enjoyed watching the players who were the best on our team and at least made the game interesting, even to the point where it looked like they...just...might...WIN!!! You are not coaches, GM'S, or even personnel scouts. I know when those two careers were calling, instead of opting to run a front office, you followed the call to grace Burger King with your talents! Enjoy the season you yahoos!

What's wrong with working at Burger King? Get that cane waving out of here.

Didn't say anything wrong with working at BK, just that the "expertise" expressed about the future of the Niners is better given by someone working in the front office. Only have the cane until knee heals!

I predict clean sweep for the bay:
Warriors world champs
Giants world champs
49ers world champs!
. . . . .then I woke up

It's the offseason. We need something other than kap to argue about

And as for you... I get it, you're a optimist. I like to think you're a completely blind optimist. But don't denigrate other people because you disagree with their opinion.
I recall you saying the same stuff before last season and look how that ended. If everyone's down on this team, there's a reason for it. But you do you, man. And when the team performs how everyone else expected them to and cashes in 5 or 6 wins, and your predictions are rendered completely incorrect and illogical...welp, you'll just bang the 12-win drum in 2017 and 2018 until it hits, and then you'll say "I TOLD YOU SO! BUT NOBODY HAD FAITH! BUT I DID!"
That should be a fun day for you.
Rational fans just don't get it, your optimism has to do with delusion and stuff I'm refraining from saying because of msg board sensitivities. Your sole purpose on this board is seemingly to incite and annoy anyone who has an opposite opinion. It's evidenced by the fact that you disregard the content of the post and toss out passive aggressive personal attacks so as not to get a warning.
but to the casual fans, 49er losses means that everything and everyone on that team is talentless. That is simply not true
True and saying the roster was one of the least talented in the NFL last year is not the same as saying "everyone on the team is talentless".
The roster was was not very talented overall last year.

Good stuff, say it louder man!! It's the hall of angry complaining, whining zombies in here, day in and day out. 2/3rds of the time. If someone from outside this forum came in to see what was going on they would think; How can some of these people be fans of the 49ers..

Do that , make it fun to watch them again, have a couple guys from draft play great, and then the Ws come...or not. Last yr, you didn't see a team out there that made you think they would win. And 3 of those Ws could just have easily been Ls, thanks to FG misses or clangs.
Basically, Ws aside, I just want to see a team that plays well...together. And that is what I think chip can bring to the 9ers. No idea on Ws, but I felt there were 6 there.
If the O takes forever to learn, then no, not good. Remember, Rams are going to be starting their rook, who if he went elsehwere would have had a yr to sit the bench and learn. I don't see that in LA...so there could be some Ws there.
Ok, I said we had a floor of 6 Ws, but I wouldn't comment on # Ws. In response to the posited 10 Ws, I have no idea what we will W. But it will be significantly more than what the HC-less 2015 Niners won. Here is a way that those 10 Ws could be won....
Ws
Rams
Dallas
Bills
Tampa
Saints
Dolphins
Bears
Jets
FAlcons
Rams
That would mean we wouldn't beat PATs, SEA twice, nor Cards. We would beat LA twice with a rook QB, who needs a yr on the bench to become NFL QB worthy. Some of these teams had losing records, some were 8-8 and some had winning records.
That doesn't mean I think we will all the games above. I am just proposing a way it might be done. And could we win one from AZ? Yes. Could we win one from SEA? Wiht the loss of 4 all pros or top flite talent....yes. Unlikely but yes. So there might be another 2 Ws, but more likely Ws to take the place of 2 Ls in the 10 team W column.
I am still down as a minimum 6 Ws. But do I think we could win 10? Yes, and not by stretching the imagination too much. This is just one way it could go down. So 10 Ws isn't all that far fetched. Making fun of the OP on this W/L guess is fine....point is, he very well could be right.

As long as we're competitive and the offense doesn't suck, I can live with 6 or 7 wins.

I'm not predicting any win amount but I honestly believe some teams overlooking the Niners this season will be a real thing. This must happen a few times a year or else there wouldn't be any such thing as upsets. Teams always say they don't overlook their opponent but they really do from time to time which I call the human nature element. This will bring the Niners 2 or 3 W's that weren't projected or expected. If they get 5 more just through hard work and execution I can see 8-8 season which isn't playoffs but nice improvement. I could be full of crap but let optimism spring eternal (at least for a few months)!

The front office knows less then a couple of guys on this board.

This is a rebuild. So 10 wins over 2-3 years is plausible.
