Do you still want Kap on our team?

He's not the guy I want to build my team around. He has talent, but he's weak in the areas most important to quarterbacking in the NFL: Does not read defenses well, not a quick decision maker, does not see the field well, not an accurate passer. In addition, I see a guy who's gotten worse every year, instead of better... whatever the reasons. Finally, there's the lack of maturity, leadership, and professionalism.

This. I want to see what Kelly can do with him. If he can't win the QB battle when it's all said and done, I have no issues moving on. As detailed as Chip is, if he can't get the best out of Kap, very few can.

If Kap was smart he'd take less money and go to Cleveland.
This is a thread to vote on whether or not posters want Kaepernick on the team. Stay on topic please. Not every thread has to morph into a blame thread.

If he gives 100%, is willing to learn, and cuts ties to Harbaugh then yeah lets give it a go.

I think we should keep Kap. He has shown that he can play at a high level.
Look at Crabtree and Ted Ginn after leaving here they are doing pretty well. The problem is our structure (front office), when Kap had a good structure (Harbaugh) he did very well.
How quickly we turn on our own around here (see Vernon Davis) SMH...

Harbaugh was here in 2014 - he did not do well. Time to say goodbye if we can find anyone who will take him.

Turn on our own, see Vernon Davis? Are you not familiar with the Bill Walsh mantra on dumping aging players?

Oh you know where this thread is headed. There should be a way to lock a thread but keep the poll open.

He doesn't want to be here, that is reason enough to want him gone.

Yes. I want kap stay on our team. I just want hate kap and hurt him and kap did hurt for us too. I want to forgiving kap and hope kap can forgiving our 49ers fans. I think, kap will seriously to focus the wins games if kap will earn alot moneys then kap must understand and keep film study for full time if he is smart how plays games. If he dont film study then he is dumb cuz he had earn good moneys! Kap should think about it! Go kap!

Yes, if we can't get value for him he still has value to the team..and could potentially be the starter again.
