It looks like Trent & Chip are content with our current roster by not going after any free agents. We could have a free agent by tossing a few more $$$ at them but were holding off. Maybe Trents waiting for some bargain deals once FA slows down? What do you guys think?

Depends almost entirely on how we do in the draft. If we pick up 2-3 starters as well as about the same number who contribute regularly, we may actually improve over last year.

Bigger issue is that you may not see it in the W-L record as we have what appears to be a very tough schedule again.

49ers are putting the pressure on Kaepernick. "Look at the offensive line you will have to play behind if you don't accept a pay cut to play for another team". Gabbert is screwed.

We'll be lucky to get a 3rd round pick. Broncos may be willing to part with a late 3rd if Kaepernick agrees to a pay cut. Kaepernick will never take the pay cut the Browns were asking for. Best case is we get that late 3rd round pick from the Broncos if Kaepernick agrees to a minor pay cut.

I'm a fan of Hyde, Armstead, and Lynch. Just because I'm a 49ers fan doesn't mean I have to be delusional and think all their young players are going to be studs. I've been a fan of the team since I was probably 6 or 7 and will continue to be a fan of the team even if we struggle for the next 4-5 years which is a possibility. I don't believe it's a requirement to think your favorite team is brimming with talent. I don't hate the team just because it's bad.

It is pretty tough to be hopeful about the roster after last season and the FA period thus far.
I am behind all of them.

Not a chance we will 5 games.

We won't ever recover as a franchise with "midget Jed" and balk at the reigns. Worst owner/gm combo in the league!
