Yeah, the whole DL sounds insane right now.

I don't know who will start at LDE on early downs...probably Ebukam since he's really good at setting the edge. Then Omenihu slides inside, and a platoon of Jackson, Turay and Hyder at LDE in pass rush situations.

The Niners have ridiculous depth at edge — Charles Omenihu, Samson Ebukam, Kemoko Turay, Drake Jackson. After Nick Bosa, who's going to get the most snaps at edge in obvious passing downs? Feel free to list them in decreasing order. — Steve J.

And you didn't mention Jordan Willis or Kerry Hyder Jr., who seemed to get most of his snaps this week at defensive end.

My guess is that Ebukam will line up opposite Bosa to start the season and that if all goes according to plan Jackson will start to take over that spot as the season wears on. Having said that, Turay also looked sharp this spring and Hyder is a proven commodity.

This will be an easier question to answer next year. Ebukam, Hyder, Omenihu, Turay and Willis only are signed through the current season.

No, I also remember reading that Willis is likely to start the year on a reserve list. Not sure which one, but someone definitely the DL had a reserve coming back midseason, and I thought it was him.
