As for 2015 Niners soon to be history season, the RB coach has showed his worth.

Only one I'd keep on staff from tomsulas squad is Rathman and Sparano but I make Sparano OL coach instead of TE coach. Go back to power blocking since that's what fits our guys best.

I've always said Rathman should have been considered for the HC job.

He has that mentality.

But hoping for Holmgren now.

Before is comment on who could be better HC of an NFL team - I admit have only been seriously watching all games this year- one of those long term admirers first time buying in on the NFL things.

Anyway from what I have read, holgram is older, was passed over because his older stuck in past style. Like all sports NFL being no different the game evolves and changes style with time and rule changes. Not sure his man management potential either.

As a known Quantum for the season I have watched the stand out guy on the coaches is rathman, is he a head coach? Not sure, has he done it before like in college don't know.

He seems to get the best of the talent he is working with though.... After all is that what you want in a coach, using the available talent to the best of their abilitires ?

Pearl,e say Hayne came to 49ers on the basis of a guarantee of PS and on the confidence he saw in JT. Though I would say it's more that Hayne saw rathman as a guru at RB to teach him the role. And look what the 49ers are getting from that training.

Compare that to the ST coach, and it's chalk and cheese and simply further emphasises how bad McCoach is and how good Rathman is, because they were both charged with teaching the new guy.
