Been watching a lot of old 49ers games and I'm blown away by how bad Taylor's hands were. Just how bad was this guy? He makes Terrell Owens look like Fred Biletnikoff. Rice triple teamed every down and the most he can manage is 2 1,000 yard flat seasons? Pathetic. Can't believe fans like this guy.

Easily one of my top five regular season games all time. This game had almost everything, but right behind Taylor's two stunning 95 yard TD's was Ronnie Lott glaring over at the Rams sideline in the last seconds of the first half when Georgia Frontierie had come down to the sidelines to prematurely start celebrating the win for the Rams.

That 4th quarter and then NFC title game took the Rams soul. Rams from '84-89 (except for '87) was a pretty nice team. After the MNF game and the NFC title game they sunk to the depth of being the worst NFC team from 1990-98. They didn't recover until their 1999 season.

What made it perfect was if it was Rice catching and running, JT was doing the samething. The Walsh/Holmgren/Shanny era WCO will always be my favorite flavors of offense. It truly was artistic.

Yeah you're right Jerry should have blocked Gray so then there's no one out in front blocking and there's then 3 unblocked defenders ahead. Why have a 95+ yard gain when you can have a 20 yard gain. Anyways, JT cutting the play back brought Gray into the equation. Jerry was already passed Gray and was moving up field to provide downfield blocking.

Oh, I also thought Taylor sucked....after all you're the one that started this thread bashing him.
