The fact that it took them 10 minutes to figure out what down it was in the 2nd quarter should alone tell you these "refs" have no business being in the league.

Yep. I'm not really that worked up about the loss as much as I am that an NFL crew can't figure out what down it was. If I was running the league it would be an immediate call after the game and likely firings. It was pure incompetence and puts the whole league's integrity in question.

There's truth to this.

It's getting harder and harder for me to stomach the NFL and its seemingly endless bulls**t. This game has become a complete joke over the last 10 or so years. The younger fans know no different so unfortunately it will continue until the game is a shadow of what it once was.

the dial hit haunted us because you can clearly see the safety come up and get ready to lay the hammer on palmer but pulled up at the last moment and let him in

this is what it's become.
he's running so let him do what he wants.

i don't know how you go to dial and teach him to do anything different on that play. it was literally perfect.

Textbook tackle. That is how it is taught. Head up, wrap up, through the chest and torso; the problem is Palmer ducks his head at the last second causing his helmet to launch upward.

It really should be a reviewable call. If the QB Ducks his head, it should not be the fault of the defender. The defender is attempting to tackle according to NFL protocol. If a QB dips his head, that is on the QB.

it was. he can't hit him though. dial laid a perfect hit on him. im sure he thought he would've been ejected from the game at that point. and he probably would have

agree, but it's not reviewable, it's a penalty with today's rules. it's b******t, but it's the way it is.
