With awesome refs this team probably scores more than 13. The McDonald OPI was an absolute drive killer.

not so. I hate the refs as much as the next person. I was just pointing out that I regularly see the refs laughing it up with QBs. I can't remember what game it was, but the ref actually helped the QB up after he was knocked down. Just saying, it happens all the time. It's not just a Palmer/refs love fest.

This Dial penalty was pure b******t as well, but who didn't see a flag coming immediately? Anytime there's a huge hit, you expect a flag now a days. Especially when you see the QB's helmet move upon impact. I've seen flags when a hand/arm brush against the helmet of a QB in the pocket. You're sure as hell gonna see one when the top of a helmet makes contact with the QBs facemask.

The helmet didn't make contact with the face mask. Palmer tried to make it look like it did because he's a savvy vet who saw it coming, but it was a clean hit.

If you can't see that, then IDK what to tell you.

Savvy vet move making his helmet move just like it was hit by Dial.

that crafty vet and his super secret helmet eject button.
Pro Football Talk is reporting that the NFL is going to pull Pete Morelli's officiating crew from their Week 13 assignment due to their errors in Sunday's 49ers-Cardinals game. Morelli's crew was scheduled to officiate the Cowboys-Washington Monday Night Football game.

Of course. They were terrible despite the support of some of our "fans".
For crissakes, Palmer's helmet looked like that after he spiked the ball too. His helmet often looks askew after plays. Dial hit the strike zone on that tackle. His head buried into Palmer's chest. If that's not a sack, I've seen about 30 sacks this year that shouldn't have been either.
Seems like the NFL realizes it too. The NFL is a total joke these days.

Dial got screwed out of a giant play, his sack could have changed things dramatically , but it goes to show how the top QB's are coddled and babied, and we lose a hard fought game due to their f*ck ups, I'm glad the league yanked those bozo's from the steelers/colts game

We have all seen Kap get drilled worse and head/neck with no call.

That fist bump between Carson and ref was slimy

Completely agree. It's a joke that the rules only apply to a select few QBs.

Proves my point.

Proves the refs were horrible. Even the NFL agrees.

I heard Larry Krueger make a great comparison between the helmet-to-helmet sack by Phillip Wheeler on Blaine Gabbert that wasn't penalized vs. the Ian Williams sack that drew a personal foul. At the very least, there are gross inconsistencies when it comes to these calls on the Niners vs other teams. The fact that the NFL pulled the same incompetent crew off the Marquee Pittsburgh and Indy game says an awful lot.
