Game #10 The Good, Bad, Ugly

Good: Gabbert is playing way batter that I inicially thought

Bad:Lack of agressiveness specially on tackling.

Ugly: Run defense.It was disgusting

How do you keep a red hot RB to 12 yds against Atlanta, and then gave up 200yds backup RB with 2 weeks to prepare. Disgusting is right.

The pick wasn't a bad pick when we took him, he just didn't pan out. We badly need to get pass-rush help for next season. If we have any chance to land a top rusher in FA, we do it. If we can get a top notch DL, we should do that too.

Johnson & Cromartie are palying well. Brock - not so good.

While it's easy to see the glaring problems that the defense had, the offense had it's issues as well with their 3rd down efficiency.

2 for 11 .... Something like 18%? It could have been a closer game had they made more of those.

You might also say that if the 49er's converted more of those, the defense would have had time to rest. Bottom line, you can't pin it all on the defense.

Next up ... Arizona! At least they're playing at home which in my opinion could be a trap game for Arizona.

sounds like vance is the least of our worries. its on the coaches, what a disgrace to have the team come out sleep walking after a bye. its just like the days of yore, when the coaches never could get our team ready to play on the road.. I bet we do not win a road game all year. do we have bad players on defense? I do not know,, i know that i f**king hate mangini, hated him last year, hate him worse this year. sloppy tackling and we are supposed to have good teachers. i did not watch the game but it sounds like again, the coaches coached scared and if true,, every f**king one of them needs to go. sounds like the offensive line was offensive as usual but is anyone really shocked? the coaches are more than ok with letting it ride for the rest of the year so f**k it... it does not bother them so why should it bother me, and of course the gutless media has no balls to ask tough questions

Agreed on Pears. It's time to go to the next guy. But more concerning to me, why was Devey out there to start the game? It's pretty clear the Devey/Pears pairing has nothing going for it, why did the coaching staff go back to it? That's extremely alarming and shows complete incompetence by the coaching staff.

after all this time and no changes, it is clear the coaches are either unable or unwilling to do anything about this. you start by firing the o line coach,, oh f**k , never mind,, i am done being angry about this and I have just resigned myself to the fact,, this is the way it will be for the rest of the year,, no one is being held accountable here

Actually just 1 TD. Nevertheless, Gabbert looked decent; I was particularly impressed with his scrambling ability.

decent? Given this is his 2nd game in like over two years playing one of the top passing defenses, I think he would of been a lot better if given more play time.

Good
- Gabbert continues to play well. Comfortable with the offense and made plays under pressure.
- Draughn is a good versatile back. Grinded out some tough yards, good receiver.
- Vance probably had his best game. Finally got that 1st TD

Bad
- Offensive line. I expected that given their overall performance this year, and playing @SEA is tough. Martin continues to get pushed back and Pears vs. Avril was laughable.

Ugly
- Run defense. Don't know what happened here, this was the strongest area of the defense heading into the game. Performed very well against ATL, complete opposite yesterday. Very poor tackling and SEA dominated the LOS. Rawls is a special player too, he reminds me Maurice Jones-Drew.

Yup decent; Marvin49's week 11 recap sums it up pretty well. I don't disagree with you that with more time/experience, he could be a lot better.
