I think it was the perfect storm of:
-49ers being pumped for their home opener
-49ers having a chip on their shoulder after everyone wrote them off because of the offseason
-Vikings being a little too full of themselves after all the offseason media hype
-Adrian Peterson's first real game action in over a calendar year
All of the above led to an unexpected win for us.
