Yes Jones had 137 receiving yards, BUT not all of that was on Cromartie AND Jones had ZERO TD's, IMO that's what mattered the most. And I'm not sure how much snaps Roddy White had, BUT seriously holding White to 1 catch for 20 yards HAS to mean something and credit HAS to go somewhere. How about Justin Hardy, speedy slot receiver held to 4 catches for 17 yards. That is a serious trio held without TD's....I'd go as far as to start them the rest of the season!!!

I feel like Brock plays off to much and doesn't have the speed to catch up. He's gotten burned so many times that I've seen. I hope they stay with Cromartie and Johnson.

Agree about brock.

But in terms of cromartie, he had one really good game. I think we need to relax on anointing anyone who performs well. Yes, he should continue to get reps, but we should wait before we start saying he is better then both Brock and acker, those guys have a lot more tape. Acker especially is someone I think should continue to get more snaps as he has improved when oven the chance, something that is great to see.

I think its being based more on that Cromartie and Johnson was covering argueably the best WR in the league right now and althought he got some yards, he did not get into the endzone. Plus those CB's played a huge part in Freeman rushing for only 12 yards.

Question is can they repeat the same in Seattle.
i dont see why not. they looked great last week

I think they can keep it up, it's the broken plays that last for 5+ seconds that Seattle is known for that worries me

Did you watch him play against Julio Jones? How many TD's did he allow? You must be crazy.

This and I don't see why not. Seattle doesn't have Julio Jones.

Super Bowl appearance and NFC Championship game the following year

Hahaha seriously. This dude is dumb hahah
All I know is that we can't try to sneak Cromartie back to the practice squad.

and although he hasn't played recently, same thing with Reaser. They will be snatched up quick!

as far as who starts... I think we need to play matchups.

when there these BIG recievers we need to use Johnson...instead of hin riding the bench. Or heck have him share guarding duties with Tartt against Jimmy Graham.

On obvious passing downs..get Wilhoite off the field and move down Tart...move Ward to SS...and have Johnson/Cromartie in there.

seriously! i am impressed by johnson and Cromartie but it is one game. Just like gabbert, they did enough to earn themselves another shot but lets see if they can be consistent

It's exactly the fact of how they played RW and JJ pretty tight, and was also a factor in run support. Brock has made a ton of mistakes this season and has really been inconsistent so far. But I just think Cromartie and DJ are exactly what the defense needs, size, speed and physical play, Brock and Bethea are soft and Acker is a second year player so he kinda gets a pass.

People like to point out that it's just one game, but that was a ton of potential DJ and MC showed us and it's a start, gotta start somewhere.
Let the young guys have at it for another week & see how they do
