Looks like a lot of the talk in the rookie threads is centered around the youth movement -- especially on defense. Tartt Armstead Acker Lynch Reid There's a lot to be excited about on defense. Guys like Harold and Purcell should be given a greater opportunity now.

Get with it man. Tartt is exciting to watch for his big hits (a forced fumble yesterday). Armstead is getting constant pressure on limited snaps -- also had a forced fumble yesterday. Ward is getting much better in the slot. Lynch is one of the best young OLB's in the NFC.

All good stuff.

This. Lots of young talent on defense, the foundation for another dominant defense in the future with a few more additions. Lynch, Armstead, Acker, Williams, Ward, Tartt, Reid, Harold....etc.

Add another pass-rusher, fix the OL, find a QB without tunnel vision that won't chuck passes 20 yards out of bounds.

Youth Movement would be an improvement over the current one (aka, the Bowel Movement)

IMO - absolutely pointless Neanderthal thinking by our old school coaches.

Meaningless wins that everyone will forget about in 2 weeks.

IMO, I'd rather have a top 2-4 draft pick and positioning throughout the draft than garbage time wins.

this. lose close until week 13 or 14 then lose HUGE the last 3 weeks to ensure ALL these weak ass coaches and hopefully baalke get s**t canned in time to be in position to hire the top tier coaches and gm prospects, not scrape the bottom of the barrel to end up with tomsula and a bunch of rejects with emperor baalke pulling all the strings and jed with his head up his ass in a closet somewhere hiding

I would like to see more of these young guys playing for the rest of the season for sure. Especially on defense & the o-line. Let's see what happens

Please let's see the younger guys. Doubt it happens with tomsula still thinking we can make the playoffs
