Everything is so depressing right now. I was so excited this year to see what Ellington and Patton could do with some more development, but the play of both Kaepernick and the offensive line have given us little chance to really know for sure what we have. That, and injuries.
All we really know right now is Patton is an undisciplined idiot when the game gets intense. Ellington can't stay healthy. And White isn't ready.
I hope Smelter is the kind of player we hope he can be. I want an influx of talent at every position going into next season.
