What to do with Jarryd Hayne?

its tempting.

If hayne has a career day you have found your #2 back for next season.

Davis needs a chance though, he has looked real bad so far but again only 15 carries in 7 games isn't enough to form a conclusion.

I would be ok with a RB by committee approach until either of them has a breakout, then go with that person.

Coaches are conservative and predictable. So davis will be starting RB. Bush to relive Davis with screen passes.

Hayne if not benched as PR only. Covers davis and bush if injured.

Hayne will be Watching his team on the sideline lose by 20 either on bench or as PR on the bench.

DL will not hold Rams for many punts.

These coaches are trying to,keep, their jobs, are risk, adverse and not willing to try new.

They like Davis most because his style is like Hyde at RB so,can slot him in easier to OL.

Part of me wants him to be no1 RB but the other part worries if it blows up he'll be crucified.

Got to see quite abit of Davis so far with his 1.5 yard average. Hasnt shown anything. Hasnt beaten a defender or made any good positive yardage in both preseason or current. With hayne we can see.lots more potential in more limited time.
I can see Hayne used rushing when we are 1-4 and goal. Leaping over the D-Line for a touchdown. Without Hyde neither bush nor davis have the physical presence or tackle braking ability through the middle to make an impact like him.

With Reggie now in for Hyde, I see Hayne back returning punts.
I see Reggie breaking his leg on the tarmac coming off the plane.

Davis is a clone of Hyde, well that's what the coaches think and want. And paid for with the round pick they got him. There thinking was In this way he can slot into team easier of Hyde injured.

So now Hyde is injured Davis will get the reps at RB, & good luck to him he has earn this shot through great stats at college.

Bush will back up to rest Davis and maybe take some screen passes if OC feeling adventurous.

If Hayne suites up, he is doing PR only, then may step up to RB if bush gets injured.

The issues Aussie have is that Hayne ability shown in pre season = nothing so Davis college seasons should also = nothing now that it's regular season and 1st stringers.

We have learnt also the NFL is all about the stats. So...

Davis is like 1.3 yards per carry ranks 95th in NFL for players rush 15 plus times.

Hayne is 3.1 yards per carry from just 8 rushes. Less rushes more than double the yards,

Both have missed blocks, both have missed blitz, both have looked lost on plays.

Some vets say Davis is more experienced, well it's college level exp. so technically that do t mean s**t against NFL first stringers.

Aussies want to talk about big game exp, World stage exp. proven pro level elite exp. so technically that don't mean s**t cause this is the NFL.

The point is on stats alone during NFL reg season at RB Hayne should get first shot. But we all now know he won't.

Lucky if they let him suits up
