Should Tomsula Be Fired??

This.

But the fault is with GM and ownership. Baalke should be fired too.

Yup

need to hire a team president of football operations and let him hire the new people but it wont happen. Tomsula and baalke will be back for at least one more year.

We don't know if Quinn or Bowles actually wanted to come here though...Gase should have been the pick (or Vic)

My choices where

1.) Shanny
2.) Gase with Vic

Admittedly though I'm an offense guy at heart. More specifically, I'm a WCO guy so Shanny is my soft spot. However, Gase's depth of exposure to all types of offensive systems really intrigued me and keeping Vic on board would've sealed the deal.

That definitely needs to happen at some point. Football guy in charge of ops. He hires the GM, who hires the coach.

Only problem is York will be the one hiring that guy, and he already has his BFF Paraag in that position.
I think Tomsula is not fit to be a HC at this time, and he's a straight forward guy... I think he might want to step down as well.

Also, another guy that needs to be fired is Baalke. Jed can't be fired....wonder if there is any way to publicly shame him.

A team on the rise was messed with this off-season, and the results are there for everyone to see.

What is there to look forward to the rest of the season? Win a few more games against bad teams and feel good? Both Nolan and Dingleberry finished with 7-9 seasons to give more false hope.

Sad.
Nope. If anything demote him back to defensive line coach. I don't think Jim would mind plus he means a lot to our organization.

Shanahan has been old since Elway retired. He's not an answer, just an autocrat.

With Shannahan our record is probably 2-5. His last three years in Denver: 24-24. His Washington record: 24-40.
Tomsula is doing the best he can with a terrible offensive side of the ball. The only proven player on offense is Kaepernick.
No credible coach wants this job. That's how we ended up with Tomsula.

Would never happen.

I know...but make an exception. Don't think Tomsula has a huge ego.
I never thought Tomsula should have been hired. But I don't think a mid season firing is the right move. Jed is married to this situation this year. Let's hope his ego is so damaged that he makes better decisions. Before he fired Harbaugh he hired him LOL. So he did make a great move at one point. Damn this season is painful

I can't recall a HC ever taking a demotion. They'd rather be fired. It's a pride thing.

But I do remember Dave Campo (Cowboys) and Gunther Cunningham (Chiefs) returning as an assistant for those teams a few years after they got fired.

Tomsula is well liked by the organization, and is legitimately a very good d-line coach. But he's not the guy to get this team out of the cellar. He's been dealt a s**tty hand. Should have never been promoted to HC.

Would have loved it!!! Anything that didn't make JT HC would have been a huge

Has nothing to do with ego. It would always put the new HC and Tomsula in an extremely awkward, unsustainable relationship.

That, and his agent would never allow it to happen.
