might as well let him finish what he started this year. Not many relevant coaches want to work under York, especially if he fires a coach in mid-season after firing a coach who had a great record in the off-season. If Tomsula can't right the ship at all, then I'm ok with it after this year. Its really too bad because he got dealt a diminished roster with late defections and a rag tag group of assistant coaches because of the York situation.

At the end of the season, probably. Unless he manages to make a respectable showing during the rest of the season and buys himself more time, I don't want to waste another year.
right now ....if he is fired NOW , at least the interim head coach could make some changes to at least field a competitive team worth watching the rest of this season, who wants to watch a sputtering team with the same lineup and same weak ass offensive attack for 8 more games

It won't do any good to fire him at this point. Wait till the end of the year and move him back to Dline coach.

I don't want to watch it but I do like a top 5 pick.

We all know that it's been said that he was lobbying for the job the last few seasons, while Harbaugh was still the coach. In my book, that's not right.
That being said, I think he should be fired ASAP, but we know how Jed feels about him. So i'm also saying 1-2 more years before something happens.

I don't know if an interim HC is going to "at least field a competitive team". More meaningful post game interviews, and sideline expressions is all I'm looking for.

Give him time and a good squad to see if he can produce.

He's under paid for the abuse Jed's letting him take. JT is the fall guy for bad management. Jed hired him Jed can fire him, but blame falls on Jed

I used to like this comparison, but Sing's teams played with a lot more passion, especially in the first one and a half years. These guys already look checked out after 7 games.
