Its hard to care when management on down stopped caring about winning

they certainly do not care about the offensive line, its been a issue last night and their solution is to do nothing, and why sign smith when you do not use him. no i do not hate this team and if you hate this team then you need to find another team. we got through the late 70's or some of us did, got through many years with erickson nolan and sing,, we will get through this to, but it is very disheartening . some people may find it funny and that is nice for them.

i actually think the team quit when they walked into the locker room yesterday, no matter who the coach is, i think our team has a mental block against seattle, they know they can not win or compete with them. how in the world do you change that culture? oh and in my opinion, chaz i am not sure if anything about this is funny but maybe you and i have different senses of humor
I hate jeb york

You are right. York went with Baalke instead of Harbaugh. My guess is a lot of friction between Baalke and Harbaugh was regarding the types of players Baalke was drafting and free agent signings. Harbaugh could not keep winning with the decline in talent. So, I blame York.

York needs to admit his mistake. Have a new GM in place before the end of the season, so we can go into the free agent period and the draft ready. We will have a lot of cap room and picks to make a difference. Realistically, we are looking at 2-4 years of hell even if we hit on all the right players.

I wonder if York has the balls to stand up to Baalke? I doubt it. He will keep Baalke for a couple more years. It will be like the Joe Thomas era all over again.

Can we just clarify why some people still think Jim Harbaugh was our savior ? I get that he took a team that had drafted top 10 over a decade, and got those players to play great, but:

1) he did not win a SB
2) we were still Seattle's b***hes with that awesome coaching staff and twice the talent.
3) Harbaugh showed no signs that he was willing to make coaching changes despite losing 3 years in a row in the playoffs.

I think the Harbaugh love stems from the s**tstorm of coaching we're seeing on the field now. But I have no reason to believe we'd be a better team today with Harbs and Roman running the show from the sidelines.

We need a REAL coaching staff in Niner land!

He took a 6-10 team to 13-3 Divisional Championship his first year
-3 Straight NFCC appearances
-1 Super Bowl appearance

Had one of the best records of any coach in their first 4 seasons.

That's not hyperbole, that's facts. And the Seahags didn't own us, we won both of the 2011 games and they won both of the 2014 games we split the rest. Obviously they got the playoff win though.

I can easily argue that with that talent we should've won one, if not two, Super Bowls. I could also argue that IF Harbs was still our coach we would've still lost that game against Seattle yesterday.

The real argument here is not that we lost Harbaugh but rather that we replaced him with someone like Tomsula. Especially when it was apparent that guys like Holmgren and Shanahan were interested in the job and clearly brought an identity with them, something that we lack on this team.

And for that, I blame Jed 100%

2, 3, 4 seasons ago when something bad happened I would turn off the TV and say I hated them only to turn it back on a few minutes later and watch cus I loved them.
This year I'm just passively watching football not having any emotional attachments to the current dumpster fire being passed off as the 49ers.
I'm at peace.

The term is fair weather fan. Nothing wrong with that.

Little Jed and Trent cried like punks when the ONLY man in the building, Harbaugh , ruffled their feathers with his tough talking ways . They cried because their feelings were hurt . So they blew up one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL , well congrats you just got your ass handed to you on national TV . The entire NFL network crew openly laughed at you and the product you put on the field . Dieon Sanders called it , Jed York and Trent Balke should be ashamed tp put a team like this on the field . 35+ years of being a fan of this team and this truly is one of the lowest of the lows and the b***h is there is no light at the end of the tunnel because ownership doesn't really give a F**K ! Eat a Dick Jed , Trent you can have the balls !

Lock it up !

They got their ass handed to them last year by Seattle too, in TG. Not disagreeing that this is bad, but dude ... that was just last year with what you say was the best staff in the NFL. Prior to half to veterans leaving.

Yeah, with 16 starters hurt or suspended, against a Super Bowl defending Champion, soon to be consecutive year Super Bowl bound team not a mediocre 2-4 team that's a shell of itself.
I do too, I don't even want to play them on Madden.
I hate that the future isnt bright for us. Even when we sucked with Nolan/Sing we knew we had talent waiting to be used correctly. Now we suck with no talent.

We're going to have a very enviable draft position next year and for years to come. That will allow us to restock talent, provided we have someone who knows how to draft talented players.

Our former GM wasn't perfect. He had a few sucky drafts. But he also drafted some blue chip talent. As did Baalke. That draft where he snagged two beastly offensive linemen in the 1st round? Stroke of genius. Let's hope he can find that touch again.

Can't believe how far this team fell...me in Green Bay for playoff game.

LOL...That's a heck of a way of saying they'll suck for years.

We won't be competitive again this decade.

But I'm only now realizing how much I sympathize with the title of this thread. I hate this f**king team, organization. f**kin suck.

Every day after work, each morning I wake up, I'm not sure why I come here (other than a medium to voice frustration - ty WZ). Like I'm searching for some tiny pathetic glimmer of hope? Or I want to read someone somewhere is getting held accountable for this pile of s**t.

SMH - f**k this team
