Here is how the Niners win this sunday.
On Sunday morning they gather as a team and watch a recording of the NRL Grand final that was played a few hours earlier.
They get pumped up by the game but also see how to execute tackling so they stay tackled.
The defense comes out and pounds the Green Bay O line and the secondary is just mean.
I have been watching NFL and college football for 25 years and although I love it and think the players are top notch athletes I am constantly amazed by the pathetic tackling that is so often on display. Seriously, does anyone know how to coach tackling. I realise there is a lot more padding and some of these guys have huge thighs but good technique can stop anyone.
In NRL the game has changed a lot over the years and unfortunately a lot of the tackling now is to prevent players off loading the football and as a consequence the traditional around the ankle tackling has been reduced which has been to the detriment of tackling technique.
I have always maintained that Rugby and Rugby league coaches could be of enormous assistance to a gridiron team (college and NFL).
Just throwing it out there.

Kap is 4-0 vs GB with...
JH and staff, a good defense, and a ok OL.
Now he has...
JT and Mangina, a defense that can't cover anyone or get QB pressure, and one of the worst OL in football.

Yes he is, but that was under Harbaugh. This is a different Kaep under Tomsula. Oh and the D was solid in those 4 wins...ummmm not so right now.
