I don't think anyone is happy for the two losses, but some are certainly happy/gloating to have "called it" and be seen as amazing prognosticators. (Because the season has ended already, you know...)

I've been sorely tempted to post a "Should the team forfeit the season and fold the franchise tomorrow?" sarcastic poll thread, but I'm concerned some fans might see that as a welcome relief of obligation to a team they follow yet constantly b***h about.

These were obviously ugly losses. Nobody enjoyed today's performance. But I find myself far more embarassed to call myself a Niner fan because so many fans are so unreasonable and hyperbolic. It's the worst part of being on this forum. Thank God I live in LA and don't have to associate with many of you in real life. It would be depressing as hell to be so bleak towards life.

Then won't you be happy when you have the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Raiders to root for instead and don't have to associate with riff-raff like us?

Yo, I'm not jumping off the 49er ship even if they go 0-100 over the next 100 games. That was my point. I'm just not a chicken little fan. If something sucks it sucks. It something is good it's good. I don't interpret things beyond what they actually are and give up all hope over two games. I went through 2004 and that team wished they had a solid win like the Vikings game.

If the majority of the remaining games are like the last two I will call them terrible and expect major changes that would come in an offseason. But for now I expect some personnel changes and scheme changes to reduce and/or eliminate the problems in the next game or two. Gotta see the games that are oncoming.
