I'm hoping that our team at least shows growth and adjusted from last week.

As I've said the Cardinals are starting journeymen like Frostee Rucker, LaMarr Woodley, Jerraud Powers on defense. If the 49ers can keep the game close and not beat themselves, they have a chance for offensive success.

But I could be completely wrong.

VD/Kaep have had some big games against this team.

Interestingly nobody can still run on us, even the great Matt Forte. Our run defense the last couple of seasons has been near the top of the league. Add in the very strong secondary and we have a pretty stout defense. We will dare Kaep to beat us with his arm which is too wild at the best of times. And BTW Powers is one of the most underrated corners in the league. Watch Tyron Matthieu today. He's a beast.
And need I point out our offense is number one in the league in points scored. Now we face our weakest opponent so we're licking our chops.
gonna be ugly

I believe they will, they actually had time to prepare this time.

Those 2 sacks were against Bridgewater I would think? That fact that we can't get pressure without blitzing is gonna hurt down the road. No one on the DL is scary to a defense.

Licking your chops huh? What you been eating? It sure as hell ain't from a championship banquet! Talking trash over here when your entire organization looks forward to playing us as you've referred to us as your biggest rival just like every other team in the division. We're everyone's measuring stick. You poor pitiful franchises. We're regal and you guys are birdsh!t
lol wtf

First quarter will decide this game. Niners have to keep it close in the first half to have a chance. If not, could snowball like last week.

Our DBs have to be disciplined, especially if we're going to try a ton of elaborate blitzes that Mangini likes to employ. This means to Reid and Bethea need to stay in position and not overrun plays, which happened too often last week. It would be nice if the front four could get pressure without assistance, but I'm not quite optimistic on that yet.

Would love to just ground and pound, but I have a feeling we're gonna need to open up the Cardinals D with some deep threats. I'm worried about our line, and thus about CK. If he starts getting pressured early with the deer in the headlights look, it could lead to mistakes. He has a tendency to look at the pass rush, particularly in the first half, which could lead to some early errors.

I'm rooting for my Niners like all fans here are, but I've got an uneasy feeling about this game.
We need a Win Niners!!
If, and that's a big IF the OL give Kap some time to pass we might just take 'em
