Seattle also utilized Wilson effectively to counter the weak offensive line. We need to do the same - and that burden falls on Chryst and Kaepernick together.

I'm sure Chryst will involve that into the gameplan but it comes down to Kaep throwing the ball away and making the right decisions. The other night Brady made his OL look good and they started 3 rookies.

Scheme is always so overlooked.

Right, I should hope Chryst involves that into the gameplan. He sure didn't in the preseason with Kap, but he did with Gabbert and Thompson. I'm hoping he was holding it back from the tape with Kap.

Roman sure as hell didn't do anything to help Kap out in terms of the weak offensive line - hopefully Chryst learned what not to do last season.

Yeah, I listened to that too and it is a downer. The o-line is a very real concern, and is without a doubt the weakest unit on the team. Teams with bad o-lines don't have good track records, but we have enough talent on defense and skill position players on offense to be competitive.

They predicted 6-10, 7-9 iirc. I'm going 8-8 again.
I'm still optimistic but yeah the Oline worries me. If we start to lose games it will become anger that grows inside of me against Baalke. I felt like he should have addressed the Oline early in the draft. Maybe these guys will gel together but with all the last minute trades and signings its obvious to see they have concern as well.

All offseason I've preached upgrading the Oline. You want what Dallas and Tony Romo has. Last night Romo had all day... don't think he got sacked at all. That's because they spent 3 years straight drafting first round talent to their Oline... even the center.
I need a pick 6 Acker tonight from you but I'll settle for an int

This. Hoping for lots of quick slants and screens if the Vikings continually bring a ton of pressure.

I hear you, but I think ADs unexpected retirement put the team in a bad spot. He retired AFTER the draft and free agency, leaving us few options and little time to do anything about it. The outlook of the line is much different if AD is still there at RT.

Hope so. Dilfer was saying our offense will resemble more WCO. More shallow crossers and passes to RBs in flats.

Logan gave us some insight too. We've scaled back the playbook, and will instead run concepts that can be mastered and disguised through various formations.

Even considering the sad state of the o-line, I think we'll see an improved scheme this year.

Why do dudes imply that other dudes should eat/suck dick? Maybe it's a white people thing...

No disrespect to pheonix

Lets hope! Tonight we'll see just what we're gonna get this season.

You guys think Hayne will be active or we'll let Bush return punts?

I must say, I will be disappointed if Hayne is not active tonight and returning punts at the very least.
The main thing I want to see is the 9ers play with passion AND not play sloppy. I would love to see zero turnovers (but one or two may not be too bad if they don't happen at critical junctures).
