Dilfer once gave 2 thumbs up to David Carr after working him out at his alma matter (Fresno State)

While Mooch on the other hand had stated that Drunkenmiller will be a Pro Bowler once he learned the nuissance of dropping back ..

To be fair, David Carr was a damn good QB coming out of college, a better prospect than his brother by far, I just think that mentally he was destroyed in Houston, any semblance of the player he was in college was completely wiped out as he got buried into the turf time and time again. People joke about it but I think that the guy may legit have some form of PTSD from the extreme beatdown he took. He was always gun shy after that, always looking like he was hearing footsteps, they took a top notch college QB and mentally and physically just crushed him. He still holds the record for the most sacks taken by a QB in a single season.

I look at him as a tale of "what might have been" had he gone somewhere else where he could have just sat for a year and learned. In retrospect, both he and Houston would have been better off had the Texans taken Julius Peppers instead.

i agree with Carr having PTSD. Imagine 300 pound guys barreling after you play aafter play. All those hits that hurt like hell. Definitely can mess a guy up. i felt like alex smith had that problem but Harbaugh was able to help him focus more in the pocket

Dude was sacked 76 times his rookie year

for real, Kap has ton of heart.

Just not much of an O-Line
I would be fine if Kap fired the ball from his buttocks if it meant getting TDs or first downs.

At the end of the day if the play is made it doesn't matter how pretty it looked. However I do understand with better mechanics the odds of better plays/accurate passes jumps significantly.

Hopefully Kap has another awesome week 1/MNF performance tonight and keeps it going the rest of the season/career.
Traveling in Europe and couldn't watch the game. How were the long balls looking? Was he on target and getting air underneath them?

Also, how was his overall accuracy?
I told you fools that KAP's throwing motion HAS NOT CHANGED!!!!!!!!!!
Now, you guys all owe me an APOLOGY!!
