Kaepernick's new throwing motion looks the SAME

What they worked on most was his base. One thing i do notice in the upper body is that they tried to eliminate that big whip around with his left arm. From what I've seen he either keeps the left arm tucked, lets the arm drop immediately, or reverts back to flailing left arm. It's going to take more than a few months to drop that, but he's trying.

Does to me. Not standing straight up. Even dilfer noticed a huge difference from the games. Same old ninertalk

Nope looks more compact and he has a quicker release, it actually doesn't look the same at all.

Not sure what your seeing.

His release Is much quicker and his throwing motion is much more compact...footwork could use s little work but that was ONE play lol

Is there anyone out there who wouldn't have felt better about kap if he had taken more PS game snaps? I know Coach T didn't want him out there if staley was on the bench, and i applaud that. Also, JT had to get more game time info on his OL guys. We were in a ridiculous situation where we lost one OL to AZ (who now is hurt) and another to retirement. Plus no Center So JT had no choice but to play his untried OL guys, find out who sticks, who goes. Still, there should have been more snaps for kap, who i hope is ready for reg season play, but based on the 14 or 17 snaps he took, looked like one would expect ...rusty.

Not sure how that should have been handled, but sure would have liked kap to get more reps. JT did find out the good news about gabbert, ie that he is a serviceable # 2, and that our 3rd string QB could function in a disaster. Burt somehow, we didn't find out how kap was doing, and he didn't get the reps it woulid have been nice to see him take.I guess we find out where he is as far as being ready 4 nites from now. Any other thots on this?

Its the best I could do considering you wanted to talk about games and this was like the only play in which Kap didn't have 3 big fat guys in his face.

His base looks pretty narrow in this play, but then again the throw was perfect so i dont really care.
