Knowing Zimmer as well as I do, Colin better have his head on a swivel. Minnesota might blitz more than I expect the 49ers to and that's with an underrated DL (Vikings).

Mike Wallace is a one trick pony with questionable hands and Peterson hasn't played in over a year. Not sure how they look good

I hate Vegas, but they are usually pretty good with the spreads.

Niners win on a last drive FG 19-17

I can't help but feel that the lack of 2nd half scoring TDs in 2014 tumbles over in to the start of 2015. AP scores early, and we trail for most of the game but keeping it close at the half 10-10, Hyde scoring what will be the only Niners TD of the night. It's Niners finally taking the lead at 13-10 right at the end of the 3rd. From there, the Vikes take the lead at 17-13 mid-way through the 4th and then it's the Dawson show the rest of the game, hitting the game-winner with less than a minute left in the game.

I doubt I'll have any fingernails left after this one.

MN 10 - SF 16

I expect this to be low-scoring, our defense should perform top 10, run game definite strength, too. But QB and questionable passing attack plus weak right side pass protection will keep this close.

Initially when the 2015 schedule was released I had projected a victory for our 49ers of San Francisco/Santa Clara. However after more recent defections of elite caliber players it has dropped my confidence level of expectations of victory versus the Viking football team from Minnesota. The homer in me is still gonna project a victory for our 49ers by the score of 20-16.
