Well I'm from australia and I think he should be covered in honey and crucified over a red ant nest, while being pelted with feces and garbage by all of the girls he ever had a crush on, and all the guys he ever was bullied by, working together, taking breaks only to make love passionately with no protection.

At Fullback position left and right steps are a must plus speed to break through when your the last defender.
Originally posted by Geckko:You are seeing what you want to see. His side step (cut) is one of his major weapons. By definition when you are running left you step right. When you run right you step left. It is effective because defenders have to change direction.
Example: his "hey mister" return. Turns to space, loops left, burns cover on the OUTSIDE. Approaches sideline, looks inside but jukes LEFT with aid of block.
Dallas game swing left. Palms LB cover and maintains left line no cut.
Try the opposite. His, only, KR, against Texans. Start right, big cut back left.
I can tell you it is what he does. Changes direction quickly causing tacklers to miss. If he is running right he steps left if left he steps right.

#49ers Jarryd Haynes' 4.84 yards per carry after contact was tops among NFL running backs in the preseason, according to @PFF.

Hmmmm. Pads too high eh?
I wonder if some basic axioms could do with a bit of analysis.
Stats Jarryd is posting should lead to some reflection on things people think they know. All industries can benefit now and then from unorthodox thinking or ways of dijng things.

In the remaining hours before the final 53 is announced you have to ask yourself this:
Will Hayne make ANY of the 32 teams' 53?
If you think he's a legit NFL player then you have to see him as a Niner.

C'mon, guys, I've been a fan since moving to Paso Robles in 1977 and haven't missed but one or two games. We have NOT had a PR like Hayne in that entire 38 yrs, and there is no way he is going anywhere but to field punts, go down on punt coverage, maybe KO coverage, and probably will return KOs. And he will do it in the red and gold. No place else.

I was expecting angels to start singing and for a revised answer to life, the universe and everything to appear in the sky. When is that scheduled?
