Right. Because Harbaugh is the type of guy who gets dictated to by the higher ups on who practices and plays. He's the consummate yes man.

whether he's a yes man or not, there's two guys above him that did nothing to stop Aldon from playing. Aldon was available to play so Harbaugh played him

That is what you got out of that really?

Yup pretty much blames the coach that is no longer there while ignoring the gm that drafted aldon and stuck by him through several arrests. Yeah its smart move by Davis.

That's funny, cuz the last arrest that Aldon had, and the only one in which Harbaugh wasn't the coach, he was released.

#Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh just said on the #Lions pre-game show on CBS that the #Ravens are his favorite team (not surprising)

lulz
Well said by Eric Davis. Need some more discipline on this team, and not just on the practice field.

The HC speaks directly to the locker room. He needs to let it be known, there will be no screw ups off the field, or else you're out of a job. That's not going to stop certain individuals from screwing up, but it will help deter players from making bad decisions. They have to know their job is on the line at all times.

Harbaugh coddled and enabled the players, he didn't intimidate them to stay out of trouble. Aldon and RayMac are proof. It was Harbaugh who stomped his feet and demanded they play when they were going through their issues, because he wanted to win football games. That makes these guys feel untouchable. The HC needs to be the first guy to drop the hammer and sit their ass, not argue with the owner and GM about it.

There will be no more coddling of players. If they want to play and keep their high-paying jobs, be responsible off the field.

They probably were too during Super Bowl 47

So logically it makes more sense to you that the management wanted to allow players to get away with murder and forced Harbaugh to go along with it. Do you recall what was said during that time? That Aldon needed to be around his football family. That sound like GM or owner speak?

I can believe this. Remember when Ahmad was benched and he was quoted as saying not everyone is treated the same here. Need to find that quote.

How many snaps did Jim play Aldon after his second DUI? Nearly all of them right? You think Jim wanted Aldon off the field that week?

what was Tomsula saying at his presser? Basically the same HC speech. The team took no action towards Aldon. Harbaugh wants to win, of course he's going to play the best pass rusher in the league if he's available on sunday.

He didnt stick with him, he cut him.

If Baalke didnt give Aldon more than one chance and cut him after his first misstake, and then Aldon turns his s**t around and becomes perennial all-pro, then you would be s**ttting on Baalke for not giving Aldon a second chance

Guess harbaugh was softer then we thought, and made undiscplined player on and off the field.

you have no point lol. The team was forced to release Aldon after his FIFTH arrest. Especially after Jeds "win with class" comments. Blaming Harbaugh for playing one of if not his best players on Sunday because he was there is laughable. If aldon was available to play and Harbaugh didnt play him everyone on this board would be pissed lol.
