If you add in romos stats then its 70 yards combined
138 yards sounds like a damn good effort.

Read this earlier today and agree.

If Hayne can pull off yet another game next week like the last two....wowee...

Hunter is good & quick, or was, we don't know because he's barely ever on the filed; healthy. The Niners need excitement and player push to make this season different than so mnay brilliant "pundits" [wanking weenies] have projected; Hayne can help there, just like Bow coming back makes the backers all better, not to mention the secondary. It's been a tough road for Hunter, but to me he has just burned too much time to be a factor now that Davis & Hayne are here and playing as well or better than he has.

I said this before, but I think it bears repeating; Jim Tomsula looks pretty damn good, talks like hard-nosed knowledgeable HC, accepts no error as an "almost good play", while at the same time gives credit where credit is due without jacking up the player so far he has to play with expectation..

Gonna be a damn interesting season eh guys?

It wasn't a "snub". It's a read option play. The QB simply read the play wrong. It doesn't mean he has an issue with Hayne. Gabbert is a 2nd string QB for a reason.

So you think Gabbert was just pissed off that the Cowboy DL forced him into the misread?

I mean he's no looking horrendous like most people would have thought. The Vikings game will definitely be a statement game for the season. If they win that game, it tells the league....don't count us out. If they can win a couple of the next after that.....I going to go an record and say playoffs.

Kap and Blaine had 10 yards passing at halftime, lol

I'm already on record for a serious PO push, and I was there before the preseason started. I just think that we have a boatload of weapons and talent on the roster, on both sides of the ball, that commentators and fans alike are simply ignoring. Even playing vanilla, with Bow in the game, and with a decent pass rush, the whole defense looked COMPLETELY different, and thats putting it mildly. If we can stay healthy, and considering how the Seaducks have looked (especially their O-line), its hard for me to NOT to expect this team back into the PO and reclaim the division.

I don't care what anyone says, I predicted a 12-4 record and there's nothing that I've seen thus far this preseason that would make me come off that prediction. With our D, depth, and an offensive scheme tailored to the skills of the given talent - especially QB - I cannot imagine this team not back in the PO mix.

IMHO😔

I have as much hope as you do. Yes we are playing vanilla, but so is the other team. Plays aren't really called to outsmart each other, more to see if the play works and see how the players perform on those plays. Bow did look really good against the Cowboys on that first series though...very excited about him commanding the middle of the D. With Kaep and the offense, they looked good. Would have been nice if Torrey had secured that TD . Now Haynes and Purcell, those are 2 guys I'm really excited about. I honestly thought Haynes was just gonna turn out like Okoye...practice squad player.

I missed the first 30min of the game last night, rewatching... All Bowman the first series. I think Dunbar of Dallas partly just crumbled and gave up once he saw Bowman came out side to make the tackle That dropped TD by T. Smith should have been called PI on Dallas. Brock made the exact same play and was called PI. f**k these inconsistent refs.

Haynes and Hyde looking good so far.

Kaep looking in control. Very good
