overall a good week. great news in regards to the offense and lack of serious injuries from the field. i think the team is a better team today than they were on sunday, they earn a good day off today. sounds like reggie is really pushing to return kicks. he is not over the hill, we got three running backs who can take the carries, so i do not think it would be tragic if reggie did returns and caught a few screen passes per game. should be fun to see that unfold. i was pretty nutsy about the field last night but i am sure the coaches, gm and owner is just as frustrated. no one wanted this to happen but it is all puzzling and disturbing., thank god davis and bethea are ok.. but a good week with good energy from the guys, good progression from the line, moody is becoming a pleasant surprise to me and sorry to break the news to sus,, but bowmans career is looking like its not ruined

On a totally new field going in this weekend...
The fact that the field is an issue at this point after last year is a god damn travesty. I don't care for some of the moves that Jed has made but not to have the field ready to go with no issues at this point is ridiculous.

I'm praying none of our guys get seriously hurt as a result.

I'm reading Oline bounced back today. By NT standards, do we have the best Oline in the league? Or does it only work with negatives?

We are now just a notch below the Cowboys circa 1990's.

Another note from @TaylorPrice. Aldon and Dial beat Staley and Boone in 2v2 on back-to-back plays. Dial ate both blocks and Aldon came free.

Similar to Cowboy and AS?

Ohhhhh that's nice!

Impossible!
Oh no!!! Staley has hit the age wall and Boone has given up. We are doomed.....

Dial is gonna be a beast this year. Playing at his natural position with plenty of depth in the rotation, our D-line will be fresh and punishing O-lines the entire game. Wish cowboy would of stuck it out for another year since we have even more depth with 2 healthy NTs again, a dockett and smith line up on the inside with Smith & Brooks coming off the edges would of been fun to watch. But a Caradine/ Dockett line up has some nice potential too

But also similar to Dobbs and AS in preseason when they were rookies! I miss Dobbs but Dial and the other young guys are replacing him nicely. Hate that Dobbs is now in Seattle!
No Sod days for the fellas or any risk of serious injuries. They boys are off for the day!!!

I do believe they have another practice scheduled for this weekend inside Levi's so i am sure they will do some patch work to better the field but at the end of the day it will probably look like crap once again.

One major problem is that York keeps hosting all these type of events at the stadium it doesn't give the grass time to settle onto the soil.
