if you listened to boone he was talking about the difference between wearing a "loose ass jersey" and having pads when trying to block defenders. he also said it would take them a couple of days to get into the swing of things. looks like both of those things are true.
He's right but i don't see how either of those things explains the right side getting abused, particularly with simple bull rush.
Also it didn't seem to effect staley and Boone, who reports say are playing solid.
inexperience+new system + defense showing exotic pressures already will do that to you to start things off.
That makes more sense then the jersey thing. Hopefully they get more reps at full speed. We should get more ILBs so we don't cut practice short again...

well know ive said from the beginning that the new system is the biggest factor in it all. so this time practicing has been fine but its different when the pads come on. now we'll see the growth and now the coaching staff can actually evaluate the players.. there was no way to do it without the pads was my point.
