Joe Lacob, Bob Myers, and Jerry West....right now the Dubs might have the best management in all of sports! Amazing how much the franchise took off under their leadership. Shout out to Larry Riley too, I'll give him some props.

I can only dream current 49ers management to be this successful one day. Everything the Warriors ownership has done has turned to gold.

I thought Seahawks fans backed off from all the trolling as soon as their hearts were broke from that superbowl loss? I guess now they just pose as negative niner fans. Hopefully they'll all migrate back to the Seahawk forums by the season opener. My guess is they'll all pretend they were niner optomists from the beginning just as soon as the wins start piling up again.

Agree the Niners are getting too much flak from the media and fans. No doubt there's been a great amount of controversy, and management has brought a lot of it on themselves, but we were just in a SB not too long ago under the current 49er brass. These are smart football people, but we have to solidify the coaching situation long-term, Kap has to step up and re-discover his 2012 magic, and we have to keep drafting well.
By all accounts, everything we here coming from OTAs is extremely positive. Hopefully that translates to a ton of wins and playoff run.

I have my doubts just like anyone else but I try to be as positive as I can so that I have something to look forward to every fall. I for one was not happy with the coaching hire (s) but they have said and have shown all the right things so far this offseason. In a time of year where the "prove it" part is impossible, the pessimists seem to be chirping the loudest. It's annoying and just makes me question their fandom. What drives them to watch games of a team they clearly do not like? Why do they call themselves fans?
On the other hand, maybe it's not them and maybe it's just me. I have never lived anywhere near the Bay Area (born in Pa and live in De) so maybe I'm more of a product of being a fan by choice rather than being a hometown fan. I've been a fan for longer than I can remember and I don't know why. Whereas hometown fans are fans most likely because it's a family tradition and were born into it. Kind of like, I can talk crap on my brother but no one else better.

Im not a fan of Jed and Baalke has done some questionable things, but they were also around when we went to 3 straight NFC champ games and were not directly the reason for us losing the SB. I understand everytime somebody else wins a ship some people get all dreamy eyed at the winning team, but calm down. Im pretty sure not all fans were excited when they fired Jackson and went with a rookie coach.

Great. Here's another one. They're coming out of the woodwork.

Really? Which team do you support? The Raiders have little or no chance of a better season than the Niners.
