He was wide open on the first and goal play where Kap almost threw a pick. Luckily, Hyde scored on the next play.

I like him better than Celek. I do like the Celek-Bell-McDonald combo though. Good solid group.

Me too. They all have outperformed Vernon Davis in Denver. Vance and Bell were lowering their shoulders and flattening defenders. I love it. That's what you should expect from your tight ends.

I just want to see more of Bell, especially in the red zone. 6'6" athletic TE should be able to create some mismatches.

Part of that is having a QB look his direction and being lower on the totem pole than Vernon. Vernon is in Denver being about as effective as he was in SF the last few years, and Gabbert is clearly better at finding the TE than Kap was the last two years.
I am excited to see what these guys can do going forward.

McDonald: 19 catches 200 yards 2 TDs
Celek: 19 catches 186 yards 3 TDs
Bell: 6 catches 84 yards 0 TDs

Agree - Vance isn't a bum.
I wanted us to draft him and have been very disappointed until the last 2 games.
Let's hold off judgement until the end of the season.
Also really like the combo of Vance, Celek and Bell.
I'd really like some creativity to get all 3 on the field at the same time.

I think actually getting the ball to these guys has shown that the TE situation isnt all that bad. McDonald has always had outstanding athleticism to be a matchup problem, now that he is seeing regular passes his way I hope he can continue to improve.
Bell is raw but very promising, still has work to do as a blocker but I feel good about him developing into a very good redzone weapon.
Celek is kind of a jack of all trades and makes for a perfect #2 TE IMO.
