Black Alternate Uniform Opinion Poll

On a scale 1-10 I give these Uni's a 10!!! The dominate black with Red accent is powerful and sharp looking. Along with our historic gold helmet. I'm amped

I woulda given it a 10 if the numbers were gold or grey & the helmet was a shiny metallic like baylor. but overall it's not bad

Don't be so naive, the front office went to the players for what they would like to play in...and that's what was the end result....

people want to bash the jersey..but it's the same jersey we have now..just a different base color

For what it's worth, I googled the meaning of colors.

Dark red is associated with vigor, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage, longing, malice, and wrath.

Gold evokes the feeling of prestige. The meaning of gold is illumination, wisdom, and wealth. Gold often symbolizes high quality.

Black is associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery.

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection


No links for this, but I remember reading once that many people think that a red and black is a power combination ... the true meaning of power. The Nazi swastika of black on red was one example cited. Also, Jack White (the musician) said he always dressed in the black/red/white combo because of the power of the combination.

Why is everyone comparing them? I like them, period. The alties are sick. They look hella nice in them in the group pic.

if we win with them ill love them. it could be a lot worse.

College teams started doing this(black alternates) a few years ago and it has kind of run it's course IMO, but I don't necessarily dislike them. I just don't think it's very innovative and somewhat bland.

A 5 year old could have come up with a better design. All they did was make a practice jersey a full uniform. Can't get much cheaper than that.
